That tower of 4080s makes me nervous. 😅
Now imagine moving it a bit for the thumbnail and video ;)
Yeah I can't imagine how you do it with such confidence! Respect for the commitment to getting the content though, awesome video as per usual. 🙂
Simp
@temperedglass1130 b-b-but... I have a girlfriend already. I got no need to simp. 😔
@@TechTesters HI baby can I run Games with RTX 4060 1440p(2k) ??
Which 4080 should you get? My wallet: *"Why do I hear boss music?"*
I like how you approach your videos, just straight to the point with solid content and beautiful presentation!
She is beautiful too, yes 😮
@@camotech1314U should ask her out then 😊❤
I've always liked how simple and clean looking the Founders Edition cards are.
Thank you for this video, I always wondered how much difference these models made.
Very grateful for these reviews, and such a big unit set at once! Something I loved from your 4080 reviews that I really missed here is the temperature comparison with noise romalized. That way I was able to get an idea of cooling performance despite the reported noise levels. Basically to see which card is the quietest with the custom temp curves I will give them. Another thing that would be awesome would be to see softwares, or at least talk about any specific issues you found with them.
I love this video, great comparisons helping people figure out which model is best for them!! SUBBED!!!!!!!!
Great video. So glad I chose the suprim x for my build!
Love all ur vids! I have been absorbed all month building my new PC. Thank you for providing fantastic information/results with a comfy vibe.
Thanks for this excellent roundup Nada. Just picked up the TUF.
Very informative, thank you! Props for the graphical tower of Babel :))
Excellent review and very helpful, thank you.
Great comparison video! Thank you!
Great video as always! I am very impressed by all these over engineered cards, especially the Asus and Suprim X models. I have the 4090 Suprim X model and talk about an over built card lol, love it though.
Love you and your work here! Thank you
Glad it's appreciated!
Love your content, thanks!
Always good to see your videos..cheers.
I like this video a lot, but I have wonder why the PNY card is missing... also do you have a similar one for the 7900XTX cards?
A vendor inclusive and comprehensive review. An awesome job Nada 😉 🎉🎉
Fantastic, just the info I was looking for! Slight typo in the chapters description it says 4090?
This vid really helped me out with my choice. Thank you!
Excellent video as always
Got the TUF OC because it was the only one available, liking it so far, only notice some slight coil whine under power virus / benchmark loads, other than that its ok
I know prices vary, but having a side-by-side of current pricing would have helped as well.
Thank you for the great content comparing so many cards. I would have liked to get the Founders Edition, but they obviouslywent out of stock in the blink of an eye. I opted for the TUF Gaming OC, and your video has made me very content with my choice. 🙂AND I have the LEGO Bonsai tree too. 😆
Just got the Palit Jetstream. Thanks 💯
My first impression of the Inno3D card was, "damn that is a slick looking card". Then I found out it still is a 2 slot card, just seems small besides the other monsters.😅
I got the MSI Ventus one so slick for non RGB build 💪🏼
I've got the MSI Expert. Its an amazing design, Runs very cool and have yet to hear any coil whine!
I may actually be getting the TUF Gaming 4070 Ti BTF edition. No cable to worry about, and it'll complement a nice white build with the TUF Gaming BTF motherboard and a white Corsair 6500 case.
Great video! This helped me make my choice. I'll be getting the Gigabyte model simply because of the recessed connector. I don't like RGB, but I assume I can just turn it off.
Great video thanks
Great content, you just won an ardent follower today 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
It would've been good to include the Asus ProArt 4080 Super to see what compromises (if any) they made to get it so much smaller than these other 4080s.
Yes that's the one I want for my tiny Itx case.
I have just got this and I will be putting a video up on my channel showing the build in my Ncase M1 soon. If there is anything you want to know, drop me a comment when O get the video up.
It's in my computer for the past two days. I can tell I'm delighted with it. Very silent, performances are great and temps are stellar (it rarely hits more than 67°C under load). I undervolted it to 915mv and nearly decreased its power consumption by 30% (around 227W on max load, aka 4K gaming and intensive Stable Diffusion).
Or that chonky Noctua x asus 4080s
I love how direct you are with your reviews. No roundabout explanations, clear and informative. Now I can share this to anyone struggling to pick the right 4080S
That's the goal, glad it's appreciated!
Got the 4080 super Aero paired with my b650 Aero. Slick white set-up.
silent vs oc bios what is difference in performance ?
Complements on your rhetorical skills - no "uhm"s etc., clean argumentation and exactly the information I was looking for - I really enjoyed this video :)
great video will u do one for 4070 ti super?
why did you only buy one. You could get one for a friend.
Just send back to seller Gigabyte 4080 super aero. Coil whine was so loud under heavy duty and Helldiers 2 game. Have same problems with this model ?
i just bought 4080 Super from gigabyte OC version and its the beast. 55C at max :D gaming on ultrawide, everything ultra, raytracing, path and so in CP2077.
Really informative... Looking forward to the review of Asus Noctua edition of 4080 super
I love yours video ❤ Ultimate video about RTX4080 Super. excellent work ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Im currently looking to get a 4080 super Founders Edition in belgium but im having a hard time finding one that doesnt cost 1600 euros. Are there any ideas when they come for a cheaper price?
Thank you for the great video! I feel like ever since Nvidia came up with their FE cards, nobody tested/compared partner cards in such a way. But during the benchmark section of the video I realized why. They're basically the same 😅 If I were to save up for a 4080S, I'd most likely get the MSI Suprim X, great aesthetics while being relatively cool&quiet
I have a Zotac Trinity (999 version) and is very small it can fit in any regular case basically.
which one is the smallest? from the shot in 0:27 it looks like inno3D on the left and MSI on the right are the smallest right?
I got the Gainward Panther 4080 Super, that was the cheapest, and quite happy with it. It is cool and quiet. It is almost the same as Palit in the video (they own Gainward).
They are pretty much same card. They using same heatsink/cooler on both cards, they weight same and have same dimensions. Btw i ordered gainward 4080s panther OC today too. Price here in czech republic is really good. Even better price/perf than 80% of 4070TI supers. No brainer for me.
As a long time itx builder the Inno3D 2-slot GPU is great to see over these 3.2-4 slot gpus of other big named GPU manufacturers 💪🥰😇👍
You should also check the Asus ProArt version, 2.5 slots design, 300mm long, could suit your use-case. 😉
Does the quiet BIOS come with any OC version, or there is a OC+duel BIOS version?
So I went and bought the Gigabyte Gaming Super model today. Will be adding this to my Ryzen 9 7950x3D build. I am slowly building and expect to finish around September. I wanted to get the two most expensive parts out of the way :) Thanks for the great informative video.
Brooooo I literally have the same build plan as you and the same time span and the same logic Wanted to get the two most expensive out of the way as well and this would take me till September as well I’m here on this video to figure out which 4080 super is best 😂
Thank you so much, but what about ZOTAC gpu?
When you use the quiet bios setting, what does that do to temperatures? Obviously, if you slow the fans, it will be quieter, but hotter. How much hotter?
Thank you very much ❤
Watching this just before starting my built for the first time with the MSI RTX 4080 Super Gaming X Slim White !!!
Thanks for this video! Can you do a similair one for 4070 super?
yep! Working on it at the moment. Should be live this week
@@TechTesters Thanks looking forward to it!
I like the Strix series, I had the Strix 3070, Strix 4070 and now the Strix 4080 Super OC. The actual clockspeed when overclocking it runs stable at more than 3000MHz, with the memoryclock overclocked at +1000MHz
I miss the ASUS Noctua version there. Do you know if there is any exterior difference between the normal and super version? I only see on the websites the word "super" on the boxes and strange prices. I don't trust myself to buy it. 🤨
i got the PNY 4080 super xlr8 and a tuff 4070 ti super!
nice coverage, can we expect similar roundup for 4070Ti models? overall I think the most decisive factor is PCIe slot width spec, because apparently even thinner cards are not thermally throttled or overly noisy here, while wasting covered PCIe slots can be a problem for enthusiast builds
Working on the 4070 Super and Ti Super now :)
@@TechTesters cool then! :D :D
I'm about to buy a rtx 4080 super And I'm wondering which version should I pick MSI suprim x or gigabyte aorus master
Thank you so much! I almost wasted a lot of money on the strix.
I just did a build for a 4080super from PNY and it’s amazing
Good review, no fluff just straight to the facts.
Please advice on building PC set up using 4080 Super. MB, Chip, RAM, HDD, Cooling System, GPU 4080S, PSU, Case, Monitor. Thanks in advance.
I can't justify spending almost $3k CAD on a 4090 so this only makes sense ESPECIALLY considering I'd only get maybe 20 more FPS in 4K. Now I want to make sure I am getting the best value 4080 Super on the market. Great video.
I have a question regarding the power connector, do any or all of the cards you tested here have the revised and improved H++ 12V-2X6 connector instead of the lower wattage old design H+ 12VHPWR? As I heard rumours that manufacturers are still using the old connector even though PCI-Sig told them to use the new design instead as I was looking at getting a 4080 super but if their still using the old connector, think I'll then wait until the 5000 series is out.
Jetstream OC definitely has H++ markings on it's power connector(which means - it's the new one, old one had H+), just google "card_name pcb" and look at power connector for card you're interested in
nice round up
Thank you!
No word about used 16pin connector. Is it 12vhpwr or 12v-2x6? Common, I can use my own ruler to find out its width. But I can't do the same with connector. Because only way is to lose your warranty with card disassembly
Informative roundup. Do any of those cards have any noticeable coil whine under load?
I got the Zotac Airo...so far, I'm happy with it. I may be partial, but I think its the best looking. I won the lottery with it as well as I have been able to get some great overclocks out of it
If you're happy with it, that's all that matters :)
I have the Zotac Trinity 4080 Super on back-order. I know it's vain but primarily because it's white lol. Have you seen any reviews on the Zotac 4080 super cards?
@@moritzckeller Techpowerup has a review for it. They liked it, just cited slightly higher noise levels. I have one and honestly don't much notice the noise, and I think half the time when I do it's simply because I'm listening for it. Not surprisingly, playing a GPU heavy game with the sound turned down low is when you're most likely to hear it. If you're like me and usually always have something else going in the room, like the TV or KZhead, whatever, you'll forget about it for the most part. It does have a silent mode, but I haven't yet bothered with it.
@@moritzckeller There are a few out there...do a search on google/youtube. I believe Jayztwocents did his 4080s review with one...
Now this is what I want. Let's face it, the general class of gpu one will get is pretty easy to figure out with the budget limits but which model... that's a tougher one.
Can you do this type of video for the rtx 4070ti super???
I managed to get TUF RTX 4080 Super for the MSRP. I am super happy about it: powerful, quiet and cool
Nice! Enjoy it :D
We are using the Windforce version from Gigabyte in our smaller server cases - performance is close enough to the top to make no sense in dealing with the extra bulk and heat generated.
I'm currentoy looking for a GC for my Ryzen 9 7950x3D. With so many to choose from,is there actually any company that just sucks or are they all the same in the end.
i have the 4080 super Jetstream OC Palit .. loving it. Its super quiet and performs very well in every game. Paired it with an i7-14700KF
Does yours default to 67% after boot?
@@micheledeliberato8675 please explain exactly what you mean :-)
Lol, subtle yet suggestive at the same time. Clever.
might have been useful to include that Gigabyte is refusing to RMA cracks on the pcb either caused by a design flaw or the heavy weight despite using gpu brackets which will end you with a VERY expensive papwerweight if it happens to you
Very well video made! Right on my time! Thx
Glad it helped!
Buen video, por favor que piensas de RTX 4080 SUPER 16G VENTUS 3X OC en cuestion de ruido y temperaturas en carga maxima.. gracias :)
building a rig for my friend this is the video i needed.
7900xtx 900 bucks 4080 1300 Is your friend new to pc gaming? seems silly to spend that much if he's new As a 6700XT build can be had for like 1000 dollars
@@boffifis1 No, you have to buy Nvidia. Its thanks to Ricers that give me all my leather.
Can i be your friend also? I would love a PC with a 4080 Super 😂
@@boffifis1 he's a professional streamer.
@@Andy_Spy He's paying me to build it for him.
No discussion of component bases which would make a significant impact on one’s choice.
but what about for example Ventus? I wonder if what you presented is all the possible models, and everything else is just a rename, or are there much more models here and it wouldn't be really feasible to check literally all of them?
Went with the Suprimx oc, very happy with it.
Enjoy!
nice presentation with highlighting special traits. something i have been wondering for a long time already (and cant find a "real" answer besides "buy when in need") is: since we got a bit of history of super/ti cards now, if one has no immediate need for a new graphics card, does it make sense to wait for super/ti cards to drop or does it make more sense to go for the "original" cards at launch? afaik its always ~2years for a new series to launch and every other year it seems to be time for super/ti and whatnot - so what makes more sense for planning a new pc build?
Depends on your situation really. As a general rule, don't upgrade unless you have to or really want to. If you can wait, seeing what the next gen does isn't a bad idea either. But if you need a GPU, might as well enjoy it asap.
Please add price information as well. Just to have a proper comparison.
Always super crisp video quality with these videos
Thank you!
awesome video, thanks :)
My pleasure!
Love this video
This is the sort of content that a lot of people is looking for. This is quality content at its best, everything is in its right place; from benchmarks, to comparisons between several models. TOP CONTENT. Hat off, madame.
How many have plastic back shields
i got the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Super Eagle OC last month . will you b reviewing that???
If you have it, why do you care about a review?
@@mrobinson8686 just to check my wise decision😀
Waiting for asus strix version because it was only card available with dual ball fan bearings. I am planning to keep this some time so not that worried about extra premium price.
anyone know any good custom pc sites? going for xoticpc but seeing some good prices on other sites for the same build of a 4080 super with a 4090 instead
IT'S MY DREAM, ONE OF THOSE GRAPHS, I LIKE YOUR REVIEWS 😉
Ordered the Asus TUF OC, because I want to run two monitors besides the triples. Looking forward to it.
Enjoy it!
Was able to get the Gigabyte Gaming OC for just $50 over MSRP at best buy great deal in my opinion. Cant wait to get to run it! : ) ( noticed that it did go up to 1,100 after o-o)
Reasonable premium imho, enjoy it!
I'd love this video for the RTX 4070 Super, especially the sound testing.
Soon :)
How about idle power consumption? Rumors have it that MSI models are way too high like almost 2x, especially the Suprim
Why has the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER VENTUS 3X OC been discontinued on MindFactory?
Oh and don't forget the RTX5080 is only months away and will be way faster than the RTX4090 as the next generation always is way faster when you look at the Relative Performance Chart!!
