It is the saddest thing when the child goes before the parents. I feel for you. I hope you can get through the pain
Four years ago yesterday, my brother suddenly passed away. Just like that, fell like an autumn leaf in front of my parents. How in the name of everything that its holly and good and wholesome in this world is this fair and how can I ever console them? No parent deserves such an ordeal, least of them these two loving, caring, tender parents like mine … yet here we are … such is the fate of some, bile bitter ….
Amém 🙏
SORRY CHAP ALL THE BEST FOR NOW
I swear and promise that I will make my child experience all this music ❤ and when I come back here with him I will see this comment.

When I use to be in charge of a Homeless Kitchen we had a Homeless Man that we called Willie he was an awesome guitar player and he would play this song while 50 homeless people would eat. I called him Willie, he would come down from the Mountains of the town with a mule and wagon, I gave him 10 pairs of socks my Hub did not need and a leather jacket. One day I found out he passed so this song is very special to me.
He will live on in your memory and comment. Sounds like quite a guy.

1:22 Shoutout to the guitar player that had Johnny and Waylon staring at him point blank through that solo. Ice in his veins!
No problem for Reggie Young i think
Reggie Young has played on recordings with all these guys already.....and then some.
I was just about to comment about Reggie. What a fantastic session guitarist! He knows when to shut up and when to play. He's like a living sidechain compressor: As soon as someone is singing, he stops playing, and not in an awkward way. He anticipates when the singers come in and adjusts his phrasing accordingly. And the way he's changing his tone. Just masterful. And I love how he looks like a damn truck driver who somehow just happened to be brought up on stage.
I think he looked and played very cool !
He been playing for them for so many years. He knows his job and does it well.
This was played at my best friend funeral great song❤️

I can say that in 2021 'Country & Western' music has died, it will never be the same .. none of the new country singers can sing like this
Agree. My disillusionment with “modern” country music started around 20 years ago. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had the same experience with rock music. Most music today has been melted down and poured into the same boring mold, very much with an unenlightened formula. That’s just my opinion. I am old, yes, but I got to see many of the great bands.
country music was replaced with stadium country, bunch of synthetic overproduced crap about trucks

@@davidross1576 RickBeato has put up a video about why boomers (and GenXers like me) can not relate to millenials' music. His theory is that after the mid90ies digital sound processing eliminated improvisation and the human element as well as the occasional void spaces in rhythm and track spaces. I like this theory very much it keeps me from admitting that I'm getting old ;) That said there is plenty of human made music out there, just not in western music industry any more.

An old cowboy went riding out One dark and windy day Upon a ridge he rested As he went along his way When all at once a mighty herd Of red eyed cows he saw Plowin' through the ragged skies And up the cloudy draw Their brands were still on fire And their hooves were made of steel Their horns were black and shiny And their hot breath he could feel A bolt of fear went through him As they thundered through the sky For he saw the riders coming hard And he heard their mournful cry Yippie-yi-o Yippie-yi-yay Ghost riders in the sky Their faces gaunt Their eyes were blurred Their shirts all soaked with sweat He's riding hard to catch that herd But he ain't caught 'em yet 'Cause they've got to ride forever On that range up in the sky On horses snorting fire As they ride on, hear their cry As the riders loped on by him He heard one call his name 'If you wanna save your soul From hell a-riding on our range Then, cowboy, change your ways today Or with us you will ride Trying to catch the devil's herd Across these endless skies Yippie-yi-o Yippie-yi-yay Ghost riders in the sky Ghost riders in the sky Ghost riders in the sky
