  • Muy creativo!!! me gusta!!! como mucho sugeriría que los pasadores estén unidos por un travesaño. SU estado natural sería el de trabado, pero con un simple levante, se corrige la posición. Esto te permitiría que en cada gran cambio no tengas que estar metiendo el dedo en dos lugar tan pequeño. Espero te sirva este humilde aporte. Me suscribo pare ver mas de este canal!!!

  • nice... i like the quick action handle to tighten, not sure if those sprockets in the rear are actually needed u could always use a roller bearings and just drill holes in the sliders and made the side locks into "one pull unlocks both sides" for a quick release..... but still a really clever compact unit.....

    • Agree 100% but the sprockets are some of the "bike parts" that keeps him from needing to -buy_ bearings . Good comment , tho , and good build Vid 👍.

    • I Agree. I was also thinking on similar lines as you and was searching for the confirmation, which I got from you. Really the chain and the sprocket is not required at all for this concept although it is used very well here and I got the idea of making a rack and pinion from this in cheaper way, to be used in some other project where it is needed.

    • The only purpose of the sprockets/etc is to be "bike parts" to look cool for the nitwits who don't understand that they do nothing but make the design overly complex. There is no need for bearings, sprockets, or bearings. Simple outriggers with pads that land on solid bars, would perform the exact same function, better, and with less complexity. The design is idiotic.@@thestone3849

  • Hey nice job, I like how wide the mouth on it is, suggestion could you not tack on a small bar across the 2 locking pins with a light spring to keep it in the down position until you lift the bar to move it, it looks like a pain in the arse trying to pop ea. One up ea. Time you need to open or close it. Just a suggestion Thanks for sharing you have some great idea's luv watching them come to life.

  • esta muy bien ejecutado el trabajo, pero en el diseño me parece que el agregado de la cadena y los piñone estan de mas, solo basta hacer perforaciones en las barras que se deslizaN

    • Pensei o mesmo, não é necessário. Bastava colocar uma chapa acima de onde a corrente está, somente para manter a posição mesmo, sem necessidade da coroa dentada.

  • Excelente, lo único que yo le voy a cambiar, por qué me lo voy a hacer, es la manera de frenar los desplazamientos de las cadenas, la idea está, pero tendría que ser parecido al manguito que aprieta y con un par de resortitos que los mantenga abajo y la palanquita solo para subirlos rápidamente, gracias por el aporte, saludos desde chile.
