  • Eric please consider bringing the portal back when you can. I still re-watch episodes from time to time, the conversations you have and guests you invite create incomparably interesting experiences that make me feel intellectually engaged in a time of much isolation. Thank you for your incredible dedication!

  • Hey Eric, I'd like to suggest something: Let's add some topic stamps to the video version of your podcast episodes to increase the ability for viewers to compartmentalize the entire episode; e.g. for the first topic a nice little textbox interface showing that you and your guest are talking about x or making arguments about why y is better than w, and so on. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this video, no as much as how much I expect from future episodes. Cheers.

  • Eric, since you're looking for dissident polymaths with a realistic view of our financial system, you should bring Catherine Austin Fitts on The Portal. She's the former Secretary of Housing for the Bush administration who underwent a paradigm shift after experiencing firsthand the high level fraud and corruption at the heart of our illusory economy. She's smart, heterodox, and most importantly, noble-hearted.

The bacteriotixins have been building io over time and have mow reached critical levels. And these charlatans hold a conversation in order to steer the solutions toward a band-aid instead of an antibiotic. We are about to go critical. And guys like Thiel are ready to run to New Zealand when the corpse won't pump any more blood. This is just so much more demoralization propaganda for anyone who can see the big picture. These two are bit players sent to quell the high end of the commoners, just like Trump is there for the lower end. Deceivers one and all.

Never quite put scientific stagnation. More importantly, our society's acceptance and "sweeping under the carpet" of this fact rather than facing it head on trying force our way into new breakthroughs as one of the critical reasons for that feeling. This conversation really oriented some of my feelings, impressions, and thoughts.

If they bother to meet each other, I feel more obliged to invest in their dialogue. Mr. Weinstein's strafing some of his competitors in this direction. I think that's one of those words that people throw around and it leads to the word losing it's surreal definition (which is a tragic shame imo) through misuse. In my understanding it's not just a synonym of "coincidence"; it's a *really* fucking weird collection of specific coincidences that are so striking that they demand to not be categorised as mere coincidence. • I can tell you this: the man should leave economic thought to economists. The idea that the Globalists or the "elites" want free trade is so comical it boggles the mind. These are things these people claim, not what they do. The "Gloabalists" want "free trade" for themselves and their friends.. they don't actually want it for the people... which is why you and I can't start a business and engage in anything we might consider to be free trade. They want "free trade" for multi-national corporations to take what they want from people who have no say in the matter because they lack property rights. That's not free trade, that's theft, but they use the euphemism of "free trade" and people like Weinstein buy it.
