  • Welcome to all the people brought in by JJK. You probably enjoy dark and interesting storytelling so I invite you to maybe check out DPR Ian's lore. This video is part of a bigger story that overarches all his work and is inspired by his struggles with bipolar and d.i.d. His art is truly mindblowing. He is imho one of the most original, hard working and honest artists working today.

    • Can you direct me to where he talks about having D.I.D? I tried looking it up but I only came across videos and articles of him talking about having Bipolar. Small update: I was listening to an interview where he compared D.I.D to having Bipolar, but he didn't claim to have D.I.D. For anyone not properly informed about D.I.D, there are similarities for sure but the two disorders are completely different. I have a system and there are people in my system who have Bipolar and also people that have BPD. There is a HUGE difference between D.I.D and Bipolar, the most obvious one being that people under the D.I.D spectrum literally have individuals sharing a psyche and body but are entirely separate people.

  • I'm finally glad I got to see the original idea behind this song. Not some shallow Tik-Tok trend videos turning it into a cringe BDSM thing when you compare it to the song itself...Such trends are kinda fine, but would suit so many other songs which have that vibe specifically, not the artistic colourful craziness which DPR IAN offers.

    @Dzhalekk@DzhalekkАй бұрын
    • Do you ever think about what bdsm is. Have a conversation with yourself about it. Alot of people live that lifestyle for their own personal reasons. Stop judging people.

      @FatNebraskaMom@FatNebraskaMomАй бұрын
    • I'm not judging the BDSM itself and I know what that is. Apparently you haven't read my whole comment and chose to fixate on a specific sentence that catched your attention immediately. I'm just saying that the BDSM dance doesn't make sense to be referred with this song exactly, it looks cringe when you hear DPR IAN's song in the background. I heard IAN himself made such a dance but still is not a reason to turn into a trend. If this dance trend was used let's say with "Red" from 365 days - that would have been more suitable with that belt choreography. Or other songs with a sexy/steamy/lustful vibe in general. The idea of my comment was that BDSM references don't make any sense at all for that song. It would have been better for "Don't go insane" if girls made references with Harley Quinn and boys - with The Joker or other psychopathic characters. I think you should get my idea already. BDSM is an okay thing for me as long as it is used with more suitable songs which also make those references. Anything from dynmk or Rosenfield or even Two Feet would have been a perfect fit for this dance trend.

      @Dzhalekk@DzhalekkАй бұрын
    • A lot of trends and memes don't fit to the original context of what's used in them. It's been that way since the beginning of the internet. Most people just care about how the sound of an audio fits the vibe of their videos rather than the actual meaning behind those songs. I like that trends at least have introduced me and more people to the original songs

      @flyingstapler1241@flyingstapler1241Ай бұрын
    • Yeah, at least that is the good part of those trends. But either way, if it wasn't for this trend - I would've been introduced to DPR IAN via Spotify with "So Beautiful" from recommended songs which I treasure the most as a first true moment of listening to his music. 🙂‍↕️

You just wanna trip me out Why don't you wanna stay? Oh, bless my heart When the wolves take me away Don't fall apart When I come back from the grave Forget my charms I'll never be the same We've came so far Only to go insane Insane No one will notice (ooh-ooh) I'm sane Insane I'm sane Can't see I'm sane Umm, umm, umm, umm Umm, umm, umm, umm I waited endlessly all night Looking up at all the fireflies in the skies I made it carefully to your side That's when the lights turned on and you were just a lie I'm sane I'm sane

DPR IAN’s work is helping me come to terms with my own emotional fluctuations and giving me the inspiration to find ways to express and portray them. There is a war between God and satan for your soul. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!! THESE CELEBS SERVE SATAN AND ARE LEADING YOU INTO HELL WITH THEM. They forfeited their soul for fame/fortune. You blindly follow these people and you dont even get earthly treasures for it. Even so God's word says, "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but forfeit his soul." Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."-John 14:6 "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven."-Matthew 10:33 “For the wages of sin is death (hell), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”-Romans 6:23

This is a big step for the mental health stigma, to show the world we're normal people dealing with what the mind can do and doesn't makes you crazy or wrong, showing by art how you feel is both therapy and educational. By being completely himself he's doing way more than he could ever think of, like speaking for bunch of people who doesn't feel heard or without a voice.

People...men specially, fall in love at first sight...but after a while when they know the real me , 'cause I never hide my reality: run away in despair! They don't wanna stay .... when you really need somebody to spend a little time...just a little bit more to feel yourself loved not only for your beauty or for sex ...just because you're definitely a good, loving and caring woman. • Jason Todd, the Red Hood, finds a haunting resonance in the lyrics of "Don't Go Insane - DPR IAN." As the song weaves its melancholic tale of transformation and resilience, it mirrors Jason's journey from tragedy to rebirth. The nights on melting snow represent his struggles, turning sorrows into gold symbolizing his resilience. The mention of wolves taking him away echoes the darkness he's faced, while the line "When I come back from the grave" mirrors his resurrection after a tragic fate. The plea to "stay by my side when the nightmare goes" reflects Jason's yearning for connection amid his inner turmoil. The repetition of "I'm sane" amidst the acknowledgment of insanity encapsulates the internal battle he wages, teetering on the edge of chaos. The poignant lyrics capture the dichotomy of Jason's existence - a character who has come so far only to be haunted by the specter of insanity. The AMV, set to this evocative soundtrack, delves into the emotional depths of Jason Todd's character, highlighting the pain, resilience, and moments of insanity that define him. It's an invitation to witness the intricate dance between darkness and light, a visual symphony that encapsulates the essence of the Red Hood. So, dear viewer, immerse yourself in the world of Jason Todd through the lens of "Don't Go Insane - DPR IAN." Let the music guide you through the highs and lows of his existence, and witness a character who defies the boundaries of sanity. • He mentioned in one interview that the black-and-white was the time he actually switched. That's an even more interesting and scary thing to observe. I am so happy that there is an artist who is embracing his mental illness into an art despite how hard it must be for him to live it.
