  • This is a clear example of how the levels escalate with a wide variety of verbs along with more complex phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions. I've been graded as a B2 yet I managed to understand even up to C2. Thanks for this invaluable lesson REWRT! I always watch your videos. Greetings from Peru.

  • PART 1 I went for a walk down to the harbour with the hope of taking the most awesome shot of the Opera House, when the sun sets, here in Sydney yesterday. It was odiously hot outside so I put on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt without much thought but while I was heading there I preposterously noticed that my camera had run out of battery.

It is very difficult to get the attention of your audience by telling blank, no sense stories. Definitely, I will practice this exercise to get better at it.

I popped in a phoneshop and managed to cleverly persuade the representatives to charge my brand-new camera. I went off on one and made up that getting such a quintessential photo was a matter of life and death to me and thank God they allowed me to go to the backroom to plug it in.

  • This is a very helpful video. I managed to do all three parts but since I´m not sure that I used all expressions and tenses correctly I´m gonna put it here just in case someone has to the nerve to read it all. 1) My friend Jane and I visited Oxford for the first time and decided to get a dinner and eat it in the park. We didn´t know where to go but with google maps and help from some strangers we managed to get into a nice park. We ate and really enjoyed our time there, except for the fact that ducks tried to steal our food. Around nine p.m. we decided to go back to our hotel but when we got the gate we found it was locked! We got so scared and searched for another gate. In the end, we found another one and got to our hotel safely! 2) My friend Jane and I were visiting Oxford for the fist time when we decided to enjoy our last evening in England and get a take-away and eat it in the park while watching the sunset. We hadn´t put much thought into where we want to go because neither of us have visited Oxford before but we managed to find a nice park with the help of google maps and some random strangers. We were enjoying our time, eating our food happily while some evil ducks tried to attack us - not really, but they still didn´t seem friendly at all! Around nine p.m. we made up our mind to head back to our hotel, we had to be there at 9:30 at the latest because of our teachers. We weren´t in a hurry because we thought everything was going by the plan but then we arrived to the gate and found out it was locked! We panicked and tried to find another exit. Thankfully, when we erally started to think we´re gonna be stuck there for the rest of the night some guy told us that gate near us is going to get locked soon and that we should hurry. We ran like crazy and screamed on the gate guards to "Hold the door, please!" and luckily they had let us get out of there. But we were in a completely different part of the city, or at least we thought we were, and had to use google maps again to find our hotel. Thankfully, we arrived just a few minutes late and teachers didn´t notice anything. Now, we always have a good laugh when we think about it! 3) My friend Jane and I were visiting Oxford for the first time when we in the moment of the heat decided to enjoy our last evening in England and get a take-away and eat it in the park while watching the sunset, which we were really thrilled about. We hadn´t put much thought into where we want to go since neither of us have visited Oxford before but thanks to passersby and google maps we managet to get into a magnigicent park. Our time there was delightful and even though some vicious ducks tried to attack us and steal our food - not really, but they still seemed rather evil. Around nine p.m. we made up our mind to head back to our hotel, we had to be there at 9:30 at the very latest since teachers gave us curfew. But we didn´t rush because we believed we could take our time. But then we arrived to the gate and to our surprise they had already locked it! We were terrified! But we still tried to think rationally and searched for another exit. When we seriously started to prepare for a sleepover in a park some guy told us that a gate few meters ahead of us is going to get locked soon and that we should hurry. We all ran like crazy and screamed on the gate guards to "Hold the door, please!" and luckily they let us to get out of there. We were so relieved but then we realised that we were in completely differend part of the city, or at least we thought we were. We had to use google maps again and after some embarrasing encounters with strangers we managed to get back to our hotel. Thankfully, we arrived just a few minutes late and teachers didn´t notice a thing! Now, we always have a good laugh when we recall the memory of it!

  • PART 4 Since she’d seen my camera she took for granted I’d watched the whole scene so she lifted the gun and began bullying me in order to destroy the evidence of her crime. I was so aghast as she didn’t listen to my attempts of chilling her a bit and at the end of the day she whacked to kill me. Fortunately the bullet failed to hit me because the gun backfired and suddenly I saw a man who knocked her down. Then I tied the woman’s wrists up behind her back with my charger wire and gave a bell to the police instantaneously. Not long after having called them the officers turned up and they explained us she had escaped from jail and she’d been trying to avoid being caught for 48 hours! Finally they let us go and I went back home very quickly to tell my fiancé all about the petrifying experience and realised I’d left my camera behind at the phoneshop! THE END

    • The one real approach to improve Speaking is speak, althrough I'm sure that the right teacher or group could be helpful but it's the question of luck so the only one way is to speak, all the parts of learning language can be insightful to improve like writing can also be helpful and comprehensive for speaking but mostly only one way - it's speak and use this all that you would like to express in your the speech even with mistakes first time and correct letter on. Also practice with the mirrow or losten your speech / make video and watch this can be helpful, write down your expeessions in sentences. It's method from actor's rhetorical classes

  • I think it is simply because of the phonetics. You can salvage some phonetic vowels from you first langgugae. Sometimes the a e u o that your former langguage use and your newer langguge use have similarities, which you can use. When learning the new phontic vowels it is easier to find times when you unintentionaly used it, in your daily life. Because I strongly believe that when we were little or baby we used to know every vowels and consonants but through time we loose it so we use a certain langguage. So I think it's simply because of phonetic knowledge.. It's not about rebuilding anything.. And I believe every langguage of the world are all inter-connected. It is a matter of which phonetic vowel are you using.. and the tempo stress or syllable based..

  • We cannot use our native language as a base to form or create sentences in English. It won't work as we expect. We have to accept that we will make mistakes forever, because English is not our first language. I've just accepted that I won't speak English as I speak my native language, I will never have the certain thought that I can reproduce in my mother tongue using other language. That's my opinion.
