It’s awful funny that she didn’t stab him before he said he was moving out. He was moving out of their home, so she stabbed him. She didn’t like it that he was moving out and leaving her and their baby, so she stabbed him, plain and simple. Sure, they may need you help, and if you have a child or loved one MIA, I'd skip the lawyer, but for this woman who clearly did it, a couple of awful days waiting for a PD is worth her maybe shaving years off a sentence.

I've been in the mental health field for almost 20 years, and make some form of psychotic disorder diagnosis on almost a daily basis. First, postpartum psychosis presents itself in different ways, and her behavior here is actually consistent with some of the symptoms. Post-partum symptoms wax and wane over many months or longer, and just because her family didn't say she was psychotic doesn't mean she wasn't psychotic. For example, her dad's response that something was off, but he didn't now how bad, followed by the fact that he found it strange that she switched to unrelated topics during conversation (disorganized thoughts/tangentiality), would raise big psychosis warning flags if she were to step into my office. To add, its not uncommon for patients with breakthrough psychosis to be reluctant to disclose ALL of their symptoms, for fear of losing some level of autonomy in their lives. That's my professional take, but it must be taken with a huge grain of salt considering how poorly edited this video is. The producers of the video kept alluding to the husband waking up and offering the testimony, but we didn't even hear what it was? The clickbait title "tries to manipulate the cops," followed by a screenshot of a psych book text about the duration of post-partum psychosis isn't fair and balanced journalism in my opinion, it is sensationalism designed to get views (including my own). There isn't enough here to make up my mind either way, but even if she WAS psychotic, she still deserves prison time. Actions have consequences.

Someone who's 21 is not a teenager.
Shut up, they can identify as whatever they want!
Yes, the clue is in the numbers. A teenager is someone whose age we describe with the suffix "teen". And she's not old enough to be umpteen either.
Yes I thought it strangely related like six teen, nineteen and then that’s it. No longer a teen
I'm not sure why my comment has disappeared.
Also, 'killer' is someone that has killed.
Dad ran a prison for a living, now daughter is going into one.. ironic.
And he doesn't immediately say "you need a lawyer, guilty or not" on the phone...
Coincidence I think
I like how his immediate thought was "now this is going to ruin her life" and not, "i wonder if the father of my grandchild is okay/alive"
Why was this cop worried about the ugly sloth and not the dude dying on the floor?
This is my first thought as well….. I get that he’s not a paramedic….. but he’s gotta be able to put pressure on one of the wounds at the very least…..

Poor guy damn! Her fake whining is unbearable.
You read my mind also, I'm totally blind so I can't see her, but to me that's an act… You would not be acting that way if your ex was on the floor at least I wouldn't, I'd be screaming my head off and hysterical. She's so false.
her whining and voice is so damn annoying it’s insane
Im more pissed about the cop not even trying to help the guy. He just looked at him and started chatting with the chick. Its nuts he should be fired.
It is over for her !
Wait a second, she started stabbing him while he was sleeping? And she only got 7 years?! Isn’t that premeditated murder? It’s not like it was a heat-of-the-moment scenario. Dude was SLEEPING! Ikr he just fuckin left him on the floor bleeding. Should be not apply pressure where he can, or literally do anything helpful??

People who fake insanity never know anything about insanity.
It’s awful funny that she didn’t stab him before he said he was moving out. He was moving out of their home, so she stabbed him. She didn’t like it that he was moving out and leaving her and their baby, so she stabbed him, plain and simple. She apparently hasn’t had any postpartum depression/psychosis since she gave birth, but then a year after giving birth, she suddenly has it. She didn’t want him to leave her, so she stabbed him.
The most dangerous time for a domestic violence victim is when they leave, the abuser doesn't want to relinquish control

She thought she would be took to a mental hospital and not a insane asylum :/
Regular, locked wards for the mentally ill aren't fantastic, and their quality is usually indicative of the hospital that they are part of. That said, mental hospitals for the criminally insane are no walk in the park. My comment is based on places in the USA and not other countries, where the quality of both jails and hospitals are quite different, with many better and many worse.
Most criminally insane actually stay in prisons now,and mostly in solitary, the worst place in every prison...
In uk they are…and supposedly very difficult to get out of them- bit like prison but with an indeterminate sentence

I used to date a cop, and he said even if you're innocent, always ask for a lawyer before you speak. Always. I've also watched a DUI video, where a cop pulls over an off duty cop, and tells the man to say nothing without a lawyer. Sure, they may need you help, and if you have a child or loved one MIA, I'd skip the lawyer, but for this woman who clearly did it, a couple of awful days waiting for a PD is worth her maybe shaving years off a sentence.
I was thinking the same thing shut your mouth. Why do you even need to call your dad to ask if you need a lawyer??

I'm only 40 seconds into this video and I paused it because I remember seeing this body camera footage somewhere else a while back. I almost didn't watch _this_ video because I thought I had seen this. And when I saw just the body camera footage, I was convinced she was going through some kind of mental health crisis and had no idea what she was doing. I figured that was that. And just when I was about to hit back and find something else to watch, "...her boyfriend survived and is ready to tell the police everything they need to put her in prison for life." ...what?!?! Okay, you have my attention. Because I believed her the first time I saw it. Wow. Okay, I have to watch this now.
She looks like Marjorie Taylor Green's little sister and with similar levels of mental instability.
The cop at the start seemed a little more interested in determining what happened, instead of assisting the dude on the verge of death lying on the floor.

Battery....... stabbing someone 19 times sure sounds like attempted murder to me?
Oh, my goodness I remember this , this channel got my sub. Aye!
Only 7 years?? Why wasnt the charge Attempted Murder???
*So, she was watching him sleep while her mind wandered into disgust, hatred and betrayal, so she started stabbing him out of malice and spite.* Then, she tried to lie her way out of it when she should have known better to keep her mouth shut and invoke her right to a lawyer considering her dad ran a prison! *I am glad so many criminals talk without a lawyer, but I'm also still perplexed that so many are so stupid they talk freely.* It's even rare, seasoned criminals are experienced enough to simply say, "lawyer".
The boyfriend was moving out. A sign of rejection to her. She went ballistic. Her defense lawyer will claim mental illness or say the boyfriend was abusive or narcissistic. This is a common tactic. A "dark" figure. That's classic too.
No way that she only got 7 years and 5 years of supervised release

Idk why people think a mental hospital is the easy way out. Its probably worse than jail. I would rather be in jail than genuinely crazy people. I've seen it first hand, and i wouldn't wanna be stuck with them.
