  • Just goes to show how tough fighting is. These are both fairly fit dudes and they were winded pretty quickly. Just imagine the cardio the pros have fighting five 5 min rounds.. This was still surprisingly decent quality fight for what it is. Good to see sportsmanship for an underground fighting league. Instant subscribe. Thank you!

    @samuelneil2691@samuelneil26912 жыл бұрын
    • Well its why knockouts and submissions usually fall off after round 3 because a lot of fighters dont have that experience, or why a lot of these championship fights have tentative 1st/2nd rounds. When youre given 25 minutes why would you finish in only 1 or 2 minutes? Especially when everything is on the line? I can only imagine how bad that would be grapping with someone like khabib who doesn't quit for even 5 minutes just drowning trying to get a better position or get out.

      @kingofthegutter8259@kingofthegutter8259 Жыл бұрын
    • I noticed that J Gottem seemed a bit more experienced and was pretty relaxed for most of the fight to conserve energy. You can tell Preacher was working much harder especially in the clinch, seems to have worked out for him but def gotta watch that exertion

      @soy1700@soy1700 Жыл бұрын
    • It’s not that they’re in better shape (obv they are), it’s about how much of your O2 you’re exerting. The best fighter in the world is still going to be GASSED if he goes all out completely because he’s using everything he has. The conditioning just gives you more of a gas tank. You can still empty it instantly if you panic and overexert yourself like these fellas

      @TheTyler701@TheTyler701 Жыл бұрын
    • @@TheTyler701 oh yeah pacing is about not neccessarily letting something like a takedown happen but if its gonna take everything youve got to get out of it... Yeah no it's probably not taking the other guy everything he has, and if it does... Well then you get a slug fest

    • You should try watching amateur cards, less skilled fighters are usually more aggressive. It sounds shitty to say but I know guys with 6 months training who are more polished than the black gentleman and the white dude's control from top position was horrible, he also responds terribly to being hit and is comfortable staying way out of range.
