  • You guys are severely underestimating Asgore. Remember, that when we fought Asgore he did NOT want to win. He was hoping that we would DEFEAT HIM. Had he not been holding back, had he been fighting for his kingdom, I definitely think he would win. If Asgore wasn’t holding back when we were fighting him, his battle would be more harder than Sans.

  • I'm still fairly sure an asgore not holding back is stronger than Sans, when you fought him, he was depressed and suicidal, right on the damn edge, he has like, NO will to live. Yet despite this, he can tank so many shots from the player, and deal some pretty good damage compared to all the other monsters as well since its clear he also really doesn't want to kill you. Keep in mind a monster's stats are canonically connected to their will to hurt and live. This is like if a cripple (all limbs) was playing football and doing better than people with all their limbs perfectly healthy. He was target number 1 for the human wars, I guarantee it, and the dude didn't die during the war. Not only did he not die, it even appears he actively fought on the frontlines. A single human soul is supposed to be stronger than all the monsters put together, and it straight up says that the monsters were massacred, meaning killed. They were out to kill, Asgore was on the front line, and a high priority target at that, and not only did he LIVE but he also appears he was only ever pushed back! Just to give an indication of credit for the lore of how strong humans are, btw, your character is a literal CHILD, and can literally murder the entire underground, and even when you're at your very BEST (worst) Asgore still tanks a 9999999 damage shot before dusting. A pissed off asgore could probably, lore wise, absolutely destroy everyone in the underground himself.

  • I think Asgore would win because of these reasons 1. Asgore proven in fight he takes about 20 hits but the tyrant takes about 12 hit meaning asgore has more hp 2. Also Asgore proven has great reselience proven in the fight 3. Asgore has a giant trident and can easily slay the tyrant. Asgore Downside: has too much depression

  • OK to anyone who sees this and is curious into who would actually win, i got your answer in MATH. according to the undertale and deltarune wikis respectively, in the pacifist route for both fights Asgore has 3500 health and the Chaos king only has 2800. now Asgore has a LOT more attack than the Chaos king, Asgore having 80 and chaos king only having 5. even if we check the data of the game Asgore still has 10 attack. Now you have to remember that undertale is technically considered a game according to sans meaning it follows the rules of taking turns to attack. this means that Asgore wins by default, but we have never witnessed to monsters battling so ill assume that it works differently specifically for humans. this means that Asgore still wins, for the simple reason of his attacks being a little bit slower than Chaos kings, but doing more damage and making up for it in health. oh did i also mention Asgore has 80 defense and chaos king has NONE? there is realistically no other way to put it, Asgore wins unless i'm forgetting something in which case please tell me so i can recalculate my answer.

    • Well chaos king seems to be be a bit more intelligent and mobile than asgore And chaos king dose have that weird mouth whip thing So depending if chaos king is lucky and if the surroundings are just right Chaos king might have a chance of wining But asgore still has a higher chance at winning, I’d say asgore is 89/100 A bit low some might argue but it’s just my opinion ( i did no research or math so tell me if I said anything wrong )

  • Asgore is a king who has military experience, he fought in a war after all. He is also wearing metal/gold armor so that's some pretty good defense. No matter the ending, Asgore dies not because he is weak but because he is merciful and regretful. He killed those children and has to kill another, he doesn't want to win. Asgore has 3,500hp, only taking 600 damage before giving up to Frisk. He has an attack of 80 and defense of 80. The Chaos King took over the kingdom with either the help from "The Knight", aka Kris without the player, and/or because Ralsei the sweet goat boi was in charge and is a pushover ( I know it's mean but it's true). The Chaos King handles himself pretty well against 3 fighters opponents at once. The Chaos King has 2,800hp, with an attack of 8 and defense of 0. Sorry, but in terms of experience, health, defense, and attack, Asgore is the clear victor.

  • I will say two things about this. This vid is DAMN NEAR perfect. While not the best animation, it's fluid, clean, smooth, and not confusing, not much more you can ask for. Second, the ONLY I feel is missing is the sound effects for the battle. Don't mind them not having grunting sounds every time they get hit or attack, but hearing the hits, crashes, clashes, and attacks, would have put more WEIGHT to it, letting you FEEL the power. This just feels like a well done comic dub that's been animated with nothing added. That being said, my first point still stands. I love this vid and this fight. He made mistakes, but Asgore is still best king in my book.

    • @Byron Walters she goes into undying mode when all the hopes and dreams of all monsters rest on her, asgore dies by 7yr with a knife and a locket, chaos king LOOSES(not dies) by teen with knight armor and sword, monster with a axe and a thirst for blood, and a darkner (I think the race was called) that could heal their allies, and even at the end, they was all beaten up really badly, yes, asgore wouldn't do anything, and undyne definitely wouldn't do anything
