I made this slab from a super cool agate I found at the Kokernot 06 Ranch in West Texas. What will a cabochon made from it look like?🤔

  • Beautyfull polish on a very nice stone. Love how the entire lenght of the 'tunnels' is visible due to the tranparency of the surrounding rock.

  • Really nice cabochon Those clear areas can be a challenge to polish but your method is very efficient!

  • Very impressive. How is it that the lights are so different inside than in the shop? (I'm actually asking about the lighting technical details: type, size, location)

    • I have a much brighter room in the shop which really helps the video. In my studio area I use a couple of lights up close to the stone and my phone struggles some with the exposure level due to the reflection. I’m constantly trying to improve the lighting because I know how frustrating bad lighting can be for watching the videos. Thanks as always for watching!

    • Hi, thanks for watching! I do not currently sell any of my work but I’m considering setting up some type of online presence in the future for that.
