UCalgary students are the latest to join the pro-Palestine encampments at universities in Canada. Henna Saeed reports on their demands and how the university is handling this.

Why haven't the police stepped in and put an end to this? A college campus is not the place to protest a war going on halfway across the world that we are not involved in. And if it's about the college's "investments", what right do these people have to dictate what a person or organization can and cannot invest in. This is more of an extortion then a protest. Also, this is another reason why we have to re-examine our immigration policies. When we bring in so many people from a war torn region of the world, its only inevitable that their conflict would follow them here.

The reason this 'war' is you want to call it that is going on is because Israel has support from western countries & lobbies for it's political policies, has western media spouting propaganda for decades now. Students around the world have become aware of the agenda, seen Israel's criminal atrocities & the support of outside agencies & governments & use peaceful protest to bring change like they did with S. Africa.

They pitching a tent until their tuition time paid runs out on the private property. This is a housing problem. Nice weather, can pitch tents.surely they dont leave at night and go to a dwelling. People are joining because there is not much land left to pitch tents. If they cared about any family left in those countries they would have fund raised plane ticket costs and got them out the same way they got out and all of their ancestors who got out of there. No wonder other homeless people are joining them with their tents.

"From the River to the Sea" is calling for genocide of all Jewish people, and those chanting it are supporting Hamas which is a genocidal terrorist group and therefore should be treated as terrorists.
