I love watching dog videos. I’ve had dogs my entire life. Some of my best friends were of the K-9 variety. I enjoy being around dogs & training them. I especially love how proud a dog looks after learning a new trick you teach them. Sadly, I can’t have a dog now bc my son who has autism is deathly afraid of ALL animals. Not sure why. He has never had a bad experience w/ a dog that I’m aware of. He was even scared of a Pomeranian puppy who’s eyes & ears were still closed when my moms dogs had puppies. You would have thought I was trying to hand him the alien creature that pops out the dudes stomach in movie. Lol! Maybe one day if I have a big enough house I can get a dog again. If I could I would have a bunch of dogs of all shapes & breeds. Not like an animal hoarder but you know like 6-7 dogs. My ideal job would be a dog trainer or own a doggy daycare facility. Heaven!
Suggest, take your son to a shelter and get him used to animals or an animal farm. If that doesn't work, I wouldn't push it, he will come around in his own time. I had a cat quite a few years ago, he seemed evil to me, probably wasn't but I still couldn't be in the same room as him without being fearful. I have not had the same problem with dogs. I might add that I had cats my whole childhood, but this cat put me off wanting a cat.

I think, you were talking about 00:57? This was not ment as a reward, it was a trade. My guess is, this dog might have/had a problem with food agression☝️ Taking the food, hiding somewhere/underneath anything to guard it. She never tried taking it from him (would have been dangerous), used "release", and "good boy" to reward him for dropping the bone/not showing agression. And offered him the chicken instead. He was distracted and didn't feel like "the food was taken from him". Of course i'm not an expert and can't be sure, but i've seen dog trainers teaching owners this exact or similar techniques to deal with their dogs's food-agression/guarding. "Offer the dog something interesting for exchange"🤔👍Sorry for such a long text, but i didn't know how to keep this short. 😁

Most dogs are extremely smart, for the past 7 months I’ve been teaching an old dog new tricks and he’s actually listening and loves that he has a routine. He came to me in real bad shape but now he’s bran new. American red nosed Pitt bull and just a pure pet. He was jealous of my boyfriend but now he try’s to join in when we are kissing 😂 and when I’m bringing him walkies he’s jumps all over and licks my boyfriend as if to say come with us please pretty please 😅 I’m doing his talking for him but I’m sure that’s what he means. After how he was mistreated in the past I don’t blame him for not wanting to leave my side. Right now he’s snoring his head off beside me ❤

At about the 15:45 mark, This dude has been kinda teasing this dog over several videos. I'm sure he is just having fun with the dog, BUT, I am sure the dog does NOT think it's funny. I have seen the dogs eyes and expression, and the pooch is NOT having any fun at all.
After watching this video I am not so sure anymore that owning a therapy dog would be the cure for everyone who has gone through a lot. Might help someone cope with the empty nest syndrome or not having enough eyes and ears and legs around to help mind the children when they are playing in the yard though. I hear dogs have way bigger teeth than we do and they can make themselves sound loud and scary enough without risking their family getting the negative sounding kind of label as result.

The Cane Corso will become very aggressive due to a lack of confidence. So many funny videos, but that shit needs fixing.
