일본방송에서는 케이팝 아이돌이 한국어로 노래 부르는걸 허용하지 않아서 그동안 일본어 버전을 따로 만들어 활동하거나 영어버전으로 부르곤 했죠. 만약 미국&유럽 가수들에게 영어(or 자국어)로 못부르게 하고 일본어 버전을 따로 만들어야 출연 가능하다고 한다면 기분이 어떨까요? 가수 소속사들은 돈이 우선이니 일본방송에서 하자는대로 맞춰줬을지 모르겠지만 다수의 한국인들은 굳이 어설픈 일본어로 불러야 하는 상황이 속상하고 불쾌하게 느껴집니다.

Your one friend was correct, this was one of their Japanese songs, off their most recent Japanese album, Map Of the Soul: The Journey. Another absolutely beautiful, but completely underappreciated song off that album is Your Eyes Tell. It was made into a soundtrack for the 2020 Japanese remake of the Korean movie, Always ( 오직 그대만 ). Written by Jungkook (the maknae of BTS), it really highlights their vocals and is a hauntingly beautiful song. The emotions hit hard, and will probably make one, or more, of your friends cry. Not that I'm pushing you two into making your friends cry, but it would be interesting to see them react to it. xD And yeah, the final setting was actually staged in a studio - built as a real set. The members were shocked and very pleased with how beautifully it all came together, and there are behind the scenes footage of the set being built, and the reactions from the members. To me, that was the most beautiful set for a music video I'd ever seen - absolutely gorgeous.

아무리 들어도 가사가 안들려서 뭔가싶었는데.. 일본어였군요 늙은귀라 안들리는줄 ㅋㅋㅋ
저도 이 노래 참 좋아하는데요. bts가 일본어가 아닌 노래로 tv 출연도 못하던 시절이 있었지만 이제는 한국어 노래를 하더라도 출연만 한다면 모셔갈 정도로 유명해져서 아마도 마지막 일본어 노래가 아닐까 합니다.

It's in Japanese, they always have a song that's all in Japanese. The song itself is yes, it's a motivational song. That's despite all the hardships that we've been through right now. We should always STAY GOLD.

For those who want to go deep down the BTS rabbit hole, this music video is part of the Bangtan Universe storyline. The song itself was written to ARMY making a promise that on those nights where something overwhelms us, they will always be by our side, the song talks about staying like gold, a synonym of strength and never lose our shine despite what we suffer. It highlights that BTS is seven and as long as BTS has each other and Army and as long as ARMY has BTS we will survive and even flourish through the dark times.
