I’m not blaming the coaches or anyone else for the behavior of some of these out of control players but it’s just the reality of it. Players who regularly cause problems, have terrible attitudes, and esp those who easily lose their temper- They have to be disciplined or else shit like this (and way worse) will keep happening. And I’m sorry but those girls clearly run the show and would eat that old man alive if he tried to say shit lol he was either scared to or didn’t know how to de escalate the situation. Most of this is directed towards the girls on the Arkansas team.. the vandy girl may have been in the mix a couple times but she was the calmest person I’ve ever seen ejected from a game lol. I don’t think she deserved that but that’s just my opinion.

  • I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbours, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivalled by any other culture. Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Their rational and logical thought toward circumstances coupled with their innate capability to de-escalate situations is to be envied and coveted. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fuelled by the mix of the black communities in an area due to the caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement, hard work, and self-reliant nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

  • Wow! The Iowa/Nebraska game was very physical. No fighting, helping each other up from the floor when someone fell. Not all the teams are getting into with the other team’s players. A lot has to do with what the coaches tolerate. If the coaches would bench the players with the bad attitudes, this would stop before it gets out of hand.

  • So let's see if I can understand this ..when I was in business for 32 years as a salesman. If I had a bad month in sales, I was never allowed to go to the guy who had a good month and had a good month & take so.e of his revenue Just because I was participating in the same actions. I didn't earn it. Therefore I didn't deserve. Ithat's how most reasonable people think... But these fema players are producing a product that obviously is inferior and nobody wants to watch, but they feel entitled to take the men's money. Because that's what everybody wants to watch. Not because they've earned it. Or they deserve it, but they feel entitled to it. Oh I understand, as usual. They want special treatment, not fair treatment. They are already got the contract they wanted. Percentage. Wise, the problem is there. League loses money every year and is subsidized by the NB. A they don't make any money in the real world. They'd be fired, but what a surprise. They feel oppressed because they want equal outcome without equal effort or results. Do a better job and Stop complaining

  • This is learned in AAU. My daughter spent many years traveling and grew to dislike the sport changing sports for college. Reason: players take every foul as a personal attack. Everything becomes an angry response and a held grudge for the entire game. It’s ridiculous and shows a lack of self control. It’s rampant in women’s basketball.

  • I didn't think they could use review to call a taunting technical. I thought that was something they had to call as they witnessed it on the floor. Because how do they even know what Daniels said? ("Let's go to the review. She said words to the opponent. That's a taunting T. What'd she say? Doesn't matter.") Or was it deemed that her words were an instigation for the rest of it, and that's why she was tossed?

    • @@DaveTheAligator You don't have to be snarky about it. Or maybe you can't help yourself, I don't know. If it's a brain issue with you, I apologize. I was only attempting to bring up a valid line of inquiry, about using video replay to issue a taunting technical for someone's words. I'm not saying she is innocent in all of this. What I'm saying is there was a ref standing 2 feet away from the situation who didn't call it in real-time. The refs huddled, and they didn't call it then. It was only after WATCHING her on replay (and probably not even with volume, considering they don't use headphones in basketball as they do in football) that they decided to issue the technical. As I said in my previous post, if they were issuing an instigator technical, that would be fair. But if they go back and use replay to call a taunt that they didn't call in real-time while standing right there, I have an issue with that.

  • Apparently they ejected the Ark player b/c they gave her a technical for taunting, and she already had committed an intentional foul earlier, and in that event NCAA rules call for automatic ejection -- seems the same is true for the Van player, who also already committed an intention foul, and was given a technical for shoving the ball into the chest of the Ark player -- Ark should feel lucky the player who tossed the ball back into the face of the Van player was not ejected too (to me that alone is worth an ejection) -- all in all it appears both schools have relaxed admissions standard far too much to accommodate the athletic department

  • As a massive sports fan this is why I don't love basketball. If the referees actually called every single foul most players would be fouled out by the end of the first half. The fact that the referees pick and choose when and when not to call the foul must infuriate the players. In the NBA, once you make it to super star status like LeBron James, they almost never call a foul on you. It's so subjective.
