I just feel he’s preparing to fight a war every time. It would be nice to see him get tested some in the wrestling department bc I know he’s really good there and people want to see those skills. His approach would be much different against a wrestler too. We’ve only seen him against guys that love trading like Gaethje and Poirier. I think if you’re trading/brawling with these guys at 155 it’s a coin flip of a fight because everyone is so good in that division.

    @rocker1jul2010@rocker1jul2010 Жыл бұрын
  • it is not a miracle. You hit someone like Porier who is Turtling up who is tense who is preparing for impact and you want him to go down? It is possible, but really hard because he is defending, he is preparing for impact whereas the other guy you are referring to was Either countering your aggression or he was hit unexcitingly. and the little shots you don't see coming are the once that Knock you out. Porier was tanking up. He was ready for impact. You can see how his face changes as he accepts.... Ok, I am in a war. It doesn't matter how hard you hit when a person is expecting to get hit they will survive. When a person gets hit all of the sudden like you did when Porier knock you down the first time, those are the type of punches that hurt the most. the unexpected. that's why you must stop fighting all the fights like a bull. Sometimes people are tough and you have to be a matador or die like a Bull following your own rules without realizing what the game is all about.

  • He's just not efficient or technical enough, sure there's a level of luck in there but being technical and efficient increases your odds. When faced with someone that's more composed and technical he starts losing. Maybe on the ground it appeared like he had more of an advantage and seemed more strategic, but on the feet he's wasting a lot of energy and an experienced/efficient fighter will weather the storm and hand his ass to him.

Jeeeeeez; What, like half of a week out from the fight and Chandler is already looking like this?! I definitely have some interesting inquiries for how in the shit this kind of body healing rate is not only possible, but seemingly the norm. This is definitely an under studied/reported upon subject in MMA when juxtaposing the healing abilities of "common folk" and how fast they might heal from one painful experience or another. Maybe I just lived around a bunch of soft, easily bruised, glass jaw individuals... But if I recall correctly, that hypothesis becomes quite unlikely!

    • @CodyTalksMMA 😂 like he did Dustin? Twice. You smoking the same shit Conor smoking. I do think it'd be a great matchup but Mike gets dropped but he recovers well idk how well Conor can take shots. He crumbled in poirer fight. Mike took dp's best shots and was still pressuring him. You can't go by old Conor what have u seen recently that makes u believe he can beat mike Chandler? He's hoping to land one big shot and if he isn't able to what's he going to do

    • @CodyTalksMMA I feel that bro he was almost finished but thats why i said he recovers well Conor was in that exact scenario with dp and got finished that first fight. Mike came out and won the 2nd rd. Conor can definitely win but he really only has one route. Feelings aside gun to your head you'd pick Conor over mike?

    • @CodyTalksMMA I agree. They are both great at controlling range but Conor is a better counter striker. Mike has better cardio and more durable in my opinion. I believe he has more ways to win

  • As lutas dele são coisa de louco, porém é um lutador sem inteligência, enquanto ele quiser ganhar só na força vai acabar perdendo, ,,tem que usar a inteligência também, se não vai ser só um cara de lutas interessantes em que apanhava.

  • I love watching Chandler’s fight but he reminds me of Justin Gaethje by the way he loses fights by fighting too emotional. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the Conor fight though. If he keeps losing Conor will definitely pick him

  • It ain't all about winning the fight, we have a bunch of boring wrestlers that can win a fight, and it just bores the hell out of the fans, being an explosive and entertaining fighter is actually how stardom is attained, Conor lost many fights also, but he is rich because he was a true fighter and gave entertaining proper fights. Fans are more interested in tuning in, when they know they are going to see a real fight, real action etc, it isn't rocket science. And with Chandler, you know you are going to see a monster in there, like a bull essentially.

I think it’s reasonable to say he stole the round for ending it with an exclamation point but the round as a whole I’d give to chandler.

    • @@bbyjohn11 bro dustin was blocking so many punches of chandler, even in the official ufc stats it shows dustin landed more significant strikes in the first round. Dustin poirier 28 of 57 49% accuracy Michael chandler 23 of 69 33% accuracy. Moreover Dustin landed the hardest strike of the round which dropped chandler.

  • I love Chandler and appreciate his memorable performances but he needs to have a renaissance like Gaithje did. Stop loading up so much and throwing telegraphed haymakers, use his takedowns but using more level changes and mixing them in with his striking instead of just over exploding with slams and wasted energy, and try to use his BJJ on the ground more to finish these guys. He’s far too talented, dangerous and explosive to be losing these fights due to bad tactical approaches in place of this “war” or “entertainment” mentality. Granted. He had moments where he basically almost beat Justin, Charles and Porier…and those guys are killers….but still. Something needs to change. Just some slight tweaks and he could legit be champion.
