We learned nothing about the relative performance of the bikes here. We did learn how not to launch a Panigale.
Facts that Ducati guy couldnt even break into the 10's when any dip shit can pull a 9.90 or better on it...
another day another pointless drag race between two motorcycles that are limited in performance solely by the need to not flip over for the entirety of the used track and therefore accelerate almost identically fast

That Duc was pulling a bit more human around too... looked like me stuffed into those leathers.
The Ducati is hard to get off the line because of the tall first gear, so the rider needs to work the clutch a lot. It it a bike designed for a racecourse not a dragstrip. So without any modifications (like stretching and gearing changes) it will be terrible.

Supercharger in street version of H2 is just an ornament, in fact the Panigale V4 has more HP and way less weight that the H2, in this case was matter of skills...

Damn i guess he had to really ease into throttle there as it was slow reaction time it seemed as they both left line ...odd I never seen a race like it before...anyone got a idea as to why this race went as it had from starting line...I saw the H2 wanting to lift on rider with 144 speed 10.40 ish to a 142 11. 20 ish or whatever they both had that race should have taken place on air strip in my opinion...

Duke looks pretty much stock to me with standard pipes and all. H2 on the otherhand has had a bit of work done. No cat converter, straight pipes and etc. Be interesting to see how they both went stock.

I run a 10.6 on my stock 09 Yamaha R1. Both those bikes have so much more potential with decent riders.
And lower gearing. Couldn't need more than 150mph over a quartet.
My zx10 will do better. Unimpressed.
They both sucked ....Ninja rider couldnt keep front wheel down.
Lol 10.558 on my ‘19 MT-10 with the shortest wheel base of any liter bike on the planet. Was expecting so much more lol
The weather wasn't great, the pavement looked sort of wet. Not saying they launched it perfectly, but everyone always likes to say how they did better on an inferior bike, without ever taking into account the conditions. A bright hot mid afternoon sun burning bright up in the sky, nice soft grippy tyres, minor mods like gearing and suspension set up and you could easily shave 1s of the quarter mile time in any bike, regardless of the rider.

That's usual stuff, ever seen a superduke wheelie past you at 240kph? On track? I did on my race prepped R1.lol You can make your bike as fast as the h2r , my r1 was almost there , with flash, full system, weight sheddings, bigger cams, 5- at tye rear it was at 220hp at the wheel , so i had clocked a top speed of 240-50mph ( around 350-70 kph ?).. Around the 400 mark , but not over there, after all not many tracks that allow 400 kph lol, kawi HQ must be ridiculous to make one of these , very fun awesome machines ! Beast of a bike....

Want to know which motorcycle is the best in the quarter mile? First, find 2 professional riders; next run six quarter mile races. After 3 runs, the riders switch bikes - then 3 more races. The results still wouldn’t be definitive, but probably reasonably accurate.

I don't know how much of advantage is launch control but it sounds sooooo good.
Even with the very slow, cautious launch, the Panigale's trap speed was 142 mph, serious, serious power.

I own a Panigale V4 and have to speak up for the Ducati rider here, they have a really horrible grabby clutch and are very difficult to get a decent launch on, on my previous bikes getting a good launch was much easier, other than launches and the amount of heat it kicks out, it really is a great bike though.
The Panigale really bogged off the line, but can't the rider compensate for the clutch quirks?

Literally on my slightly upgraded (boared out cylinders, change ups with compression ratios etc and full exhaust, upgraded clutch plates to better support a good launch) Gixer 750 2009 and was still running 11.2s...been riding since I was 11 n some people think the bike makes the rider, but the rider makes the bike!!!!

Yes, you are correct. Buying a set of Alpinestars leathers and owning a Ducati does not make one a rider by no means. Even my 1098 would've smoked that H2.

In dealing with the work of the mechanic team, they can build motorbikes with more powerful engine specs..and Rpm..the engine can be lighter and denser at revs..higher horsepower is also more big up to 250 Dk is more so it deserves to always be superior and successful on the straight track with top speed... definitely better than Japanese motorcycle manufacturers such as Honda Yamaha and Suzuki❤️🙏

The Ducati has the stock pipes and the H2 headers. I produce 12 more HP with the Ackrapovic factory option on my V4 Speciale.

Ecu flashed h2 with a pipe and performance air filter produces 250HP at the rear wheel. With few changes to supercharger gearings the h2 can put 276HP at the ground which is basically h2r. My friend's v4s with full akro system and ecu flash with a tune produces 204HP at the rear. The power gap is huge between these bikes even with 30 kilos difference h2 got much higher power to weight ratio.

And where do you suggest they practice - apart from on the drag strip? Launching a bike with so much power is a fine art which takes lots of practice and not something that you can do on the road.
