The skill difference, even in players just a few spots from each other in terms of ranking is incredible
It really very surprising that accuracy of magnus is beyond human yet sometimes in tournament a random blunder and yet next matches with high accuracy.
What is impressive here is that Magnus who played against So's novelty (i.e. So should have been better prepared here than his opponent) was immediately able to spot the weakness and dismantle the position even though this was still in the opening

But there are positions that are like 0.57. To be fair supposedly, both players need to get white's power for that particular setup. And you have to play consecutively so the 2nd player who gets white doesn't get a chance to check engine for the 2nd game. Yeah right! In 9LX, white doesn't REALLY have an advantage. Sure if they check engine or if you're playing between engines like Leela Vs Stockfish. So for humans, THEORETICALLY there could be some advantage. But PRACTICALLY, how's anyone getting to figure this out during the game when they see the position for the 1st time? But ok let's say this fear is justified. Why is this hypocritical? In regular chess, white's advantage is KNOWN. Yet they have single round robins & single swiss tournaments all the time. Tata Steel, Norway Chess, USCC, Grand Swiss, blitz & rapid WCC, etc. Unlike Grand Prix, World Cup, classical WCC, these randomly assign players a colour, and they play just 1 colour! 1 player gets an advantage for no compensation! Black doesn't get extra time or rating bonus, the weaker player isn't white automatically, etc. Imagine tennis where only 1 player gets the serve, baseball where only 1 side pitches or 1v1 poker where only 1 player is the big blind.
