Here’s what I experienced. My friends would go chase death, I’d go rhyme, then go be a dummy after, but I always felt it was my best option in life to really spit these bars. Nothing else was a fit. As soon as open mics and freestyle competitions faded in Phx, a lot of us went off the deep end. I just say keep spitting ya bars and being smart about your life and your grind.

I'm a 44 YO white male from the south shore of montréal, canada. I was a teen in the 90's and listened to a lot of rap. I used to rap too but i was not a street dude so there's a lot about the politics and mentality involved in hiphop that i didn't understand ( not coming from a tuff neighbourhood ) I like this show because it gives me just that... a better understanding of hiphop and black american culture.
