I don't understand these insinuations that need Nick needs to 'turn his life around' or 'get his life together.' He is a teacher. He and his brother probably have numerous sponsorship deals going on. Nick shunned the gangster image and said leading up to this fight that he enjoys mentoring/training the youth. What needs to be turned around in his life?
@mannycole29882 жыл бұрын
@@mannycole2988 I think Nick is already in the process of turning his life around. He did smoke a lot of weed before/possibly still does smoke now which does take a toll on your mental health in the long run (anxiety, psychosis, short term memory etc.) However Nick did look mentally in a much better place then I've ever seen him in the lead up to the fight and to be honest I enjoyed listening to Nick take his time and speak what he was thinking. I think what many people still imagine is the old Nick Diaz who would show up right after blazing, yell angrily at his opponent and then proceed to disappear completely other than random KZhead videos accusing other fighters, and that has clearly changed and mentally he looks in a much healthier place

@Robert Gonzalez wonder boy would zone him out and beat him at this stage Lawler, the old Lawler, is quicker in earlier rounds but hes also lost the bloodlust much like today's Nick Diaz it's somewhat. similar with Woodley I don't think any of these guys lost their power barring nick who did look old and slow as hell but did show moments that matched his younger version athletically (not mentally since he CLEARLY lost that me vs the world thing and doesn't seem to want to go back to that mentality and wants to stay as a mentor to the kids he's teaching as he said and not as a gangster...also as he said)
What a humble man. Absolute class act!! Very well spoken and extremely respectful. I can’t picture him saying anything negative about ANYBODY!! I love how he won’t make predictions or say anything that could be misconstrued. My hats off to this man!
What a humble dude throughout all his career. Respect and admiration for these two warriors, really 🙌🏽
There's just no way you cannot have full respect for this man. He's just such a nice guy, a great sportsman yet an animal in the cage. He's the type of guy who'd break your face into pieces then say sorry and offer to help you train when it's over. Stand up guy! Gutted for Nick, but you just cannot not like Lawler.

One of the scariest in-the-octagon personalities ever combined with one of the most humble, decent personalities outside of it 👏🏽
Nick has mellowed, I've always been a HUGE Nick Diaz fan and even though it was tough to see him no longer in his prime I am just glad he seems to be happier now, was great to see him give Robbie a hug at the end.

he doesnt look happy what so ever lmao

If everyone else in this world was like Robby, the world would be a way better place. He doesn't talk shit about anyone, if there's a problem he'll just break your face. Good man. Legend 👑
I am a HUGE Diaz fan!!! This guy right here just earned a ton of respect from me!!! I was hesitant to watch what Robbie had to say but Damn!!! Much respect to this man!!!
One of the best to ever do it. I'm glad he was able to revenge his loss to Nick. Nice addition to his incredible career.
Its avenge lol
And now he has a another mythical version of himself.
He said “revenge his loss” 😂
Robby's 5-0 in his rematches you can tell it made him happy

Sad to see nick lose but good to see robbie get a w
Nick is clearly trying to turn his life around and I think after everything he's been through his emotional intelligence has only improved since his departure. I admire the sportsmanship I saw from Lawler even after this win over Diaz compared to how I think he would've reacted when he was younger. Definitely a memorable fight nonetheless, and one for the books!
@@shariqnaeem9308 Weed aint no issue shit has nothing to do with that

Let’s be honest, we all would love to be as chill as Robbie is, so humble and relaxed. What a class act, I only know of him being a Diaz fan but he has really warmed me. Lovely man. He deserves a huge payday and a great retirement fight.

Classic Lawler, nothing but respect. Big congrats to him on his win. It was hard seeing Nick the way he was, it broke my heart. Nick will always be my favorite fighter. It was tough to see a warrior quit but it happened. Nick got his retirement fight. Nick looked old, slow and out of shape. Breathing heavy with things not going his way, Nick pulled the ," No Mas" move, took his money and went home. That is not the Nick DIaz of legend. I mean Ortega and Merab both could of quit, but niether did and in Merab's case he won the fight, Brian almost won. Nick is done, sad to say. I wont pay for another of his fights and for his health he should not fight again.
