I think you will be a lot happier with the SuperDrive 23's for 3D. Those V 27's are really only for indoor 18m shoots. I run the GT Nine.3 Max Pros for 3D's @398 grains. I went with 130 grain tips instead of the 100 grain for the FOC.
Was it the vtac 23s you were using? Aren't they lighter gpi than Easton Super Drive 23s? Glad they worked better for you.
I was shooting Vtac 27. Switched to SuperDrive 23.
I shoot a vtac 25 cut at 27.5 with a 100 grain glue in and a 3” x3 vane and there only 353
The Vtac 27 are nearly 11 gpi. The Vtac 25 is 7.2 gpi. 4 gpi x 29 inches = 116 grains. I might have 125 of 150 grain tips. It seems like I had issues finding 100g tips. Either way they are heavy. lol

That’s the one 3D arrow I’ve never played with. I need to get some and experiment 🤔
