In this tutorial video I go over what I think to be the best way to use Dynamesh and ZRemesher in Zbrush.     • Just a quick question tho, I'm sculpting a figure for 3d printing and I'm wondering if I still need to use Zremesher or I can just sculpt away until high poly then onto the printing. Thanks in advance.

  • Excellent. Going to look for more videos from you now. ZBrush has such a steep learning curve and KZhead is full of the "whiskers and pores" level of detail on how to work with it. Nice to get a 'Dynamesh' overview!

  • This is one of the most exciting features of ZBrush. To use Bezier curves to work for you in 3D. I kind of found out about that on my own but your tutorial really nails it and dissect it.

  • I have idea for next video: Zbrush useful tips. Example: I just started using Zbrush, and I didn't know how remove copy of my subtool from scene (so i restarted Zbrush usualy ) - yesterday somebody told me to use ctrl+n to clean my layer. Great tutorial and i can't wait for more :)

    • Zremesher just creates a grid, right? Meaning it wouldn't be perfect for animation topology? Could you hypothetically zremesh and then fix topology for animation where needed or would it be easier to just do manual retopo?

    • Hey J Hill, i've watched your other videos, but you don't seem to use dynamesh in them, you just use remesher while shaping the low poly result and then remesh again, for example on your Ogre sketching video. Is there any reason that you don't start with dynamesh in some of your videos?

    • The older videos are before dynamesh existed. I use dynamesh for everything now unless I have a basemesh already made
