  • The reason why your cap is in the negative when it doesn’t say it is is because when you sign somebody then trade them right away you have to pay there bonuses for there whole contract so usually the cap hit isn’t worth it

    • Yes - if u go into team salary u Can see How much trading/cutting a player Will cost u in penalties. It should have a tab with penalty and bonus and then you will just have to minus the penalty with the bonus. Ex. A player with a contract that says 10 mil in bonus but 5 mil in penalty you will earn 5 mil to your salary cap. If it was 5 mil in bonus and 10 mil penalty you would lose 5 mil on your cap hit even though you are trading the player
