How dark the water is, how you can't see anything until it is right in front of you! The eye glow of the plesiosaur was so creepy, the slow approach, and the feeling of dread when it let go, it was all so perfect! I noticed the storm that took the Spartan down happened thirty years ago.... was the storm perhaps Hurricane Clarissa? And was the ship delivering cargo to Site B? @DrThunder88@DrThunder88Ай бұрын
    • What were some of those aspects? I’m genuinely curious I don’t know anything about scuba

      @Harry64278@Harry64278Ай бұрын
    • @@Harry64278 I'm by no means an expert, but I'd break it down like this. First, they would not be able to speak with that type of regulator. Their lips and jaws would be engaged in holding the mouthpiece, making speech impossible. There are SCUBA masks and helmets that allow the wearer to speak, but those weren't them. Second, if they could talk, they should not be talking that much. An 80 cubic foot tank (and I don't know what volumes the characters' tanks are) will give a diver enough air for a 20 minute dive at 100 feet, the 5-10 minute ascent, and a safety margin of 5-10 minutes. I think 100 feet seems like a reasonable estimate for this video, and 20 minutes is the maximum time they'd be able to stay at that depth to avoid getting too much nitrogen in their blood. That's not a wide margin to be wasted with chitchat. Every word is made of the same air they need to stay alive. Things like the dive plan really should be determined on the surface, when the divers aren't living on borrowed time. Last, it looks like they're swimming down to the ship. There might be an in-universe reason that just didn't make it into the final cut, but generally it's more efficient to drop to the operating depth as close to the site as possible and then start swimming. Swimming is a lot of work that, consequently, requires a lot of oxygen consumption, so minimizing that exertion will keep more air in the tank.

  • So good! I almost stopped it twice. Was watching it with headphones and took the off. Couldn't stand the music and the sounds in specific scenes. So so good

  • Hey Hollywood can you please hire this awesome person to make an actual good and scary Jurassic Park movie? Cause seeing the shark swim by as just a silent form glide and then the eyes in the dark! I got chills from my legs to the back of my neck. Bravo 👏

  • A pretty good underwater encounter but it would have been nice to see a zoom in the Pleisio's face to see it panic subtly and let go of our guy before the Mossa came in. Still just a stellar job! Making me want to get back into writing suspense horror even though I don't think I have any marketable stuff just a love of that kind of atmosphere when it's actual movie monsters.
