My cat just simply opened every drawer they had in there because they weren't locked and looked inside and then tried to open the door to where the Vet and the Vet Assistant were coming from because he wanted to see what was in there to look inside of. Had the assistant laughing when he wrapped his paws over her foot and tried to pull it up away from the door because he thought she was holding it shut with her foot. He's smart, sweet, and curious. I can't say I've ever met a male cat raised by humans that wasn't loving, I've met plenty of female cats that were awful.

A reminder: when dogs are being naughty you don't use a glove, you use restraints or sedatives. Cats however are weird, they're pretty damn strong for their size but not strong enough that you can't hold them, it's the claws and their ability to flip around that's the problem. No one seems to know that gripping them on the back of the neck makes them freeze. It's kind of amazing. Works just like Spock's grip, without the music. It's how mothers carry their kittens and males mate without getting bitten or scratched.

Well, that's nothing funny, because the cat is panting. And the panting for the cat means that either something very wrong is going on withbher health or the animal is in so hudge stress, that it hits through the cat's body... Ps., a vet explained me , that too much of panting for a cat might cause severe and permanent issues with cat's respiratory system.

After reading some articles about pulmonary edema in cats and what causes it it makes sense: when cat is panting, that means, that she's either ill or in too high level of a stress. Too high level of stress getting for too long or too often causes many dangerous health issues and illnessess for cats and those other ilnessess or issues (such as hypertension) causes pulmonary edema in cats. Now I remembered, that vet warned me about the danger for my cat to get this illness, because of getting too much of stress, while pointing how important it is to make him feel safe and comfortable and soothe him during stressfull situations for him , so he would not start panting or stop it, if he starts (he got a lot of changes in his lifestyle recently, because of his health problems, and now needs to adapt).

isnt that the truth. i stopped at my sisters once and there was a strange cat in the yard, he was a stray tom cat she was feeding. nice cat, pretty chill so i gave him a scratch and noticed how dense and rock hard his muscles were compared to the usual domestic animal. i picked him up and no shit hey that thing weighed at least 30 to 40% more than her other cat that was actually bigger. i know why he was so easy going, he had no enemies, none alive anyway.

My cat just simply opened every drawer they had in there because they weren't locked and looked inside and then tried to open the door to where the Vet and the Vet Assistant were coming from because he wanted to see what was in there to look inside of. Had the assistant laughing when he wrapped his paws over her foot and tried to pull it up away from the door because he thought she was holding it shut with her foot. He's smart, sweet, and curious. I can't say I've ever met a male cat raised by humans that wasn't loving, I've met plenty of female cats that were awful.

A reminder: when dogs are being naughty you don't use a glove, you use restraints or sedatives. Cats however are weird, they're pretty damn strong for their size but not strong enough that you can't hold them, it's the claws and their ability to flip around that's the problem. No one seems to know that gripping them on the back of the neck makes them freeze. It's kind of amazing. Works just like Spock's grip, without the music. It's how mothers carry their kittens and males mate without getting bitten or scratched.

Well, that's nothing funny, because the cat is panting. And the panting for the cat means that either something very wrong is going on withbher health or the animal is in so hudge stress, that it hits through the cat's body... Ps., a vet explained me , that too much of panting for a cat might cause severe and permanent issues with cat's respiratory system.

After reading some articles about pulmonary edema in cats and what causes it it makes sense: when cat is panting, that means, that she's either ill or in too high level of a stress. Too high level of stress getting for too long or too often causes many dangerous health issues and illnessess for cats and those other ilnessess or issues (such as hypertension) causes pulmonary edema in cats. Now I remembered, that vet warned me about the danger for my cat to get this illness, because of getting too much of stress, while pointing how important it is to make him feel safe and comfortable and soothe him during stressfull situations for him , so he would not start panting or stop it, if he starts (he got a lot of changes in his lifestyle recently, because of his health problems, and now needs to adapt).

My middle cat was the complete opposite, he'd let the vet and vet nurses do anything they wanted, while keeping a look of saintly long suffering on his face. Then he'd slide off the exam table like a blob of melted wax and vanish into the depths of his carrier.

isnt that the truth. i stopped at my sisters once and there was a strange cat in the yard, he was a stray tom cat she was feeding. nice cat, pretty chill so i gave him a scratch and noticed how dense and rock hard his muscles were compared to the usual domestic animal. i picked him up and no shit hey that thing weighed at least 30 to 40% more than her other cat that was actually bigger. i know why he was so easy going, he had no enemies, none alive anyway.
I once watched an Irish Setter corner a cat, and then the cat scratched his nose. That was one miserable dog.
