  • Haha "I'm gonna keep it for awhile" was definitely for your wife's ears. Really sweet set up and super clean install. Now all you need is the Newport on the stern and you will be fully outfitted. Seriously, great looking rig Sean!

    • @@J.WannaFish I really like my Unlimited but when you added the gear pod and the rudder system I was into it for $700 more than what I paid for the PWR that had both storage and rudder standard. The PWR is faster than the unlimited and has better secondary stability to me. But the unlimited is still a great platform!

  • Very nice. If you decide for a second graph get a lowrance to intergrade via nmea 2000 network to your Xi3. Lot of nice features you kind of miss out of with the xi3.

  • That thing is dialed! Looking to build essentially the same setup sometime this year. How's this thing compare to the nucanoe unlimited in terms of stability and performance? Definitely seems easier to rig!

    • Thanks for checking it out! Stability I'd give the PWR the edge because the secondary stability to me is better even at 35" wide compared to 41". Performance max speed on the Unlimited was 4.0 mph compared to 4.6 mph. That comes from the narrower hull. 👍

    • Thanks for checking it out. Thinking of adding a the new NK180 for traveling and use the xi3 when I get to a spot. Working out the weight to keep the boat weighted evenly. I'll post up another walk around when I get things dialed in👍

    • Also, could you add a sidekick between the two blackpacks? I think you could hold the wheels in the hatch when you weren’t using them and would be a nice option

  • How is the stability on the water. I'm looking into getting some type of kayak for when i get home from this deployment and trying to weigh my options. Be my first purchase. I like the Titan X 12.5 but for the price and how much i deploy back and forth overseas I don't know if I want to spend 3500 on one then graph and motorguide.

    • Its really stable, I came from a Titan 12 and 10.5 and others and it's as stable as the titan even being narrower. It's really light as well so if you just wanted to take it out as a paddle yak you could car top with ease. I'm 6ft 180lbs and stand and fish all the time.👍

    • Kayak with tax was $2020, Trolling motor (Xi3 GPS) and 100ah battery and wiring $2600. The electronics and storage can range from $700 -$3500 depending if you want big graph and livescope and multiple storage options etc.

  • You don't get any water in the hull? I had tons of water getting into my past ss127. might want to bump up the black box just in case water does get in from a windy day.

    • So the back is now slanted a bit and has two nice channels going to 2 scuppers that are under the front blackpak so not worried about pooling anymore. Took a couple good boat wakes Saturday and the hatch channels diverted the water nicely. The hatch channel is pretty tall compared to other brands I’ve had. Diffidently not like my Native😊 looks like they learned a bunch from the SS127👍

    • I went last weekend for 7 hours on the water and still had 90% left. With the Bluetooth you can see the AH draw at different speeds and it shows your time left.
