Living at The World's Largest Truck Stop in My Blacked Out Car

My name is Arslan and I’ve been living in vehicles for the past few years. My journey of alternative living began after I was fed up with the high cost of rent in the United States. I fell in love with the idea of living on the road, so over the years, I converted a sprinter van, a Camaro and most recently been living in my 2014 chevy suburban camper car. I enjoy making KZhead videos and recording my different experiences to share with you guys. I’m also a nurse half days of the week because I have a significant passion for helping people.
In This video: we spend an entire day living at iowa 80, this truck stop became my home!
KZhead Posting Schedule: Saturdays 9am EST
I love reading your comments and wish I could reply to all of you but my schedule doesn't allow. But I always reply to SUPER CHATS because they pop up on my phone!
P.S. If I need to tell you guys something, I will comment and pin it on my latest video.
All of my long form videos can be found in this playlist: • How I Live In My Car W...

  • You know what I love about this channel? Bro, you do everything by yourself you genuinely don’t need anyone around for you to enjoy! Something I’m still struggling to overcome with myself! Keep up the good work bro, I’m locked in for life!

    • Hey thanks gamerslust! it must be difficult for you, I used to be that way too. It took me some time to learn that I don't need someone else with me to be a whole person or "complete me". But that still doesn't mean that I don't believe in love or enjoy spending time with others ❤️

  • I am a home baker of more than 50 years, and I love baking challenges. So one day, after watching Ukranian residents trying to cook in the street after having their homes destroyed, I asked myself: can you bake bread (and such like) without an oven? The answer is: you certainly can. You can "bake" in a lidded frying pan as you just experienced, and you can also steam in a lidded saucepan (my favorite way). For instance, mug cakes are even better steamed than they are cooked in a microwave and so would be those cinnamon rolls. Anyway, it takes experience which I know by numerous failures and successes. Anything with sugar and/or butter will burn at higher temperatures, so use low temperatures and you can make it work. Simpler breads are easier because they don't contain so many "burnables." The trick is low and slow because baking takes time to produce a good result.

  • ooh Arslan, you should try getting the Omnia Oven . its a flame stove top thingy that can bake stuff-- from fresh batter to reheating baked goods. get the Omnia Oven Kit so that you have all the basics and the accessories. so far everybody who's been using that (campers, vanifers etc) is giving glowing reviews. i think that would be a really good addition to your cookware there without occupying too much space or taking up too much power

    • @@AnointedTravelers yup and the Omnia Oven looks like its a multi-meal gadget, specially if you get the 6-pack silicon molds. i saw another vanlifer have a full meal using the Omnia oven with the silicon molds in one cooking session-- like they had veggies and mac& cheese with some fish i think(i forgot what was on the 4th mold) . heck that Omnia thing can easily replace Arslan's little pan there :D

    • I looked that up...all it is, is a bundt cake pan, with a lid. They want anywhere from $80 - $200 bucks for one. All you need is a lid, cut a hole in it, place that on the burner. Put the bundt cake pan on it. Place a lid on it, and you have your Omnia stove. You can get all the mentioned items at a thrift store for about $5. I also saw a 6 pack of silicone bundt cake liners for $2 from Temu. 😁

  • Hello, I always enjoy your videos. Try washer sheets. I changed because of my wrist but for you, it takes up little space. I’ve given up on those mega jugs of liquid detergent. Plus you reduce use of landfill’s. If your towels become smelly, use 1 c white vinegar and 1/2 c baking powder in a regular load. I recommend: Arm & Hammer Power Sheets Laundry Detergent, Fresh Linen 50ct, up to 100 Small Loads

    • thats genius! 👍👍 Arslan has incredible new solar panels (like 400 watts or smth and flexible and thin its amazing). but the question would be how much capacity are his current batteries. given his solar panels and his inverter i think it would be easy for him to increase his battery capacity so that it can store more of those energy generating sources, then he can easily use an air fryer or a portable air cooler or other creature comforts.

      @steelsheen@steelsheen12 күн бұрын

  • This was great fun watching this video. All your videos are great. I've seen each one. I was mini-praying for your safety (knew you'd be alright) during your cave walk lol

  • So much fun hanging with you! Love how you spiced things up with more content while keeping your channel's authenticity :) I really enjoy the wide camera angles too, very nice to see the views. Take extra care when you're driving and filming through the window tho, that may be dangerous. But way to gooo! Keep living your best life

  • Wow!! You listened to me about real butter, but it is not the best to cook with. It burns at a low temperature. I'm thrilled. It is so much better for your body. Coconut oil is best for frying and your body. It does not add coconut flavor, so don't worry about that.
