Let’s be honest. We all came here just to see our state and leave
Exactly
Nah bru
😂 right you are!
That's me

As a teen who lives in Wyoming on a ranch in the mountains, I can 100% confirm that the wildlife here can be quite dangerous. You gotta remember that once you enter the wilderness, you become part of the food chain.
But Wyoming doesn’t exist ??
@@EdemamePizzaWhat? What are you talking about? Of course it does. It’s a State.
@@EquineMetalheadNo way did we just find an ultra-rare Wyoming citizen
@@pengiunanimatorguy1707 I guess so lol 🤣
I'll walk in the woods an day over walking down the streets of Newark.🍻
Wait.... farmland everywhere and no people near, isolation, very rural... 😂 sign me up...
Same here, sounds like a total win to me!!
Me too. Must be a city slicker video.
Well, considering what American cities have turned into over the last 30 years.
I wouldn't call that a con. Hate how populated my state is getting especially up in demoncrap craplanta
I live in rural state in a town with less than 1k.. there is literally zero opportunities. Everyone knows you and your business. Very difficult meeting/ connecting with new people. If you don't have a car, you're completely screwed in life (like I am now). It's a nightmare actually. Maybe if you're already established in life and financially stable and just want to live in the woods next to a cow pasture ... sure, it's fantastic!
As a Floridian, I'm surprised that you didn't add hurricanes to the cons.
Hurricanes are a given no matter what coastal state you're living in
@@Spiralredd eh more for the east than the west. I mean besides theblast one from last year, when was the last time the west coast got attacked by a hurricane?
Florida is MOST prone to hurricanes,it also has a lot of thunderstorms I heard. That's surprising.
@@Spiralredd Alligators are not exclusive to Florida eiher.
@@Thedesertcactus Not really surprising. Florida is the only state which reaches into the subtropical zone.
Hawaii, isolated is the con?! I see this as an absolute win!
Compared to other states, Michigan got off easy. They get "cloudy weather" vs hurricanes, blizzards, violent crime, and dangerous animals.
It is a very nice state to live in. I am very fond of it.
MICHIGAN AAA-
"Urban living options." Seriously. Like you're not basically moving into Fallout when you move to Detroit.
What they forgot is our weather is bipolar
Urban living options? I have only heard good things about Ann Arbor. Michiganders I have known say all the other cities are armpits! 😂
Why is farmland a con? You like to eat dont you? And from that picture i think you misunderstand nuclear power. Nuclear power is clean energy. The stacks arent releasing pollution they are cooling towers releasing steam.
I know, right? You can tell no real thought went into this vid.
Who cares
I truly don't understand why some people choose to believe nuclear is this horrible thing when it is both the best energy source, and the cleanest, I don't think there is any real disadvantage to it
@@jetstreamsam3681As a person who got a slight case of nuclear pollution from both Chernobyl and Fukushima (I grew up in Hungary and lived in Japan for some time), I beg to differ.
@@tempestsonata1102 Well those are freak accidents, I don't mean to undermine how bad they were but it shouldn't happen again as long as people are being safe, plus I think there are now more safety measures than before so hopefully it won't happen again
as a Georgian I like that both our pro and con is "it hot"
It should say Hot and Bless your heart 😂 ME: To my Dominican bf Bless your heart Him: why you say that and smile when you should be mad😂😂😂
Yeah been a Georgian since I moved here in 98. And still amazes me that people like going to ANY outdoor activities in the summer even though you are sweating to death with no breeze and getting treated like a buffet by mosquitoes and gnats constantly😐
they got ga right 100% 😂
The cockroach one from Alabama should have been in the Georgia one not gonna lie
As a native of North Carolina I have another negative experience. Way too many people coming to the state
Try being from Colorado....
It’s also very High in crime, They worship basketball more than god, No snow, Grueling summers, And not to mention Lumberton…
@@JonathanEstenson Crime depends on what part you’re in. Greensboro. Durham avoid.
As a Massachusetts life long resident if you think crappy roads is the biggest “con” of this nightmare state you didn’t look close enough
Then what is the biggest con?
@@thegreypath1777 it’s communist capital for starters , taxes are beyond insane , cost of living etc etc etc

One guy told me there is a weird law and attitude from the judiciary that is not very pro self defense if you have a home invasion . @@thegreypath1777income taxes and just taxes in general are crazy high. High cost of living. Fella above was correct in calling it taxachusetts. And it’s a crazy vote blue no matter who state. Basically sums it up.
I mean, tight alcohol regulations could be a pro depending on which type of person you are...
Fr, I’m never plan on drinking anyway so it would be fine if I moved to Utah
I don't think tough alcohol regulations r a big deal.
I think they mean what type to sell as well as what day you have it. I remember there's a city, don't remember which state, where you can't mow your lawns on the weekends.
Hawaii. Beaches and isolation? The extreme introvert in me sees the isolation as pro, and crowded beaches as the con.
You can't get to another island or state unless you fly. Many hours to mainland.
As someone who's lived in Florida for 9 years, I can confirm that there are way more cons to living in Florida than just alligators and hurricanes. Long hot humid summers, high crime rates, bad drivers, bad traffic (specifically in the winter), lack of employment opportunities, rude people, cocktoaches and other pests, and sinkholes, just to name a few.
:(
I can speak on the bad drivers and a lot of Cubans.
Not to mention open hostility towards the LGBT folks in recent years :/
I'd b afraid of sinkholes.
I lived in the panhandle for a few years....might as well lived in Alabama😠
As a Washingtonian, I imagine the ‘Pros’ side is dropping with every person that flees Oregon and California.
Considering that the cons in living in California is that everything is bloody expensive, I can't blame them. Even Oregon was inexpensive to be in until the Cali's came, so not surprised that Washington is next.
Introverts wondering why Hawaii has two pros when the other states have pros AND cons.
Hawaii also has California's cons, that everything is too expensive.
Great lakes are pros for all the states that border on them. Gotta have a boat and jet skiing on them at dusk when the water is like glass is fantastic experience everyone should have once in their life. I did it on Lake Huron unforgettable for me.
Oregon is also extremely expensive to live in and the homeless number has increased since Covid, as well as the crime rate in the city areas.
Florida does not have alligators everywhere and in Georgia, it does snow.
Very true.
Florida along with the Carolinas have lots of hurricanes.
Georgia pro should be lower cost of living compared to most states and cons should be constant diversity hiring
I was in Sarasota. Any puddle could have an alligator in it.
I lived in Gainesville, and there were alligators everywhere. Seriously.
Um wow, I’m from New Jersey and I got off easy. And yeah it’s a bit crowded but hey, a lot of stuff to do here surprisingly enough, especially South Jersey if you like beach type areas. Also great Italian restaurants considering we got a lot of Italians here.
As an Okie, i can tell you that our terrain is not "dull" ...from mountains to marshes, sand dunes and waterfalls. Oklahoma has just about everything
Yes different regions of Oklahoma are beautiful
Not from there but you are right.
Oklahoma is terrible! Lots of tornados there! And dumb people!
Very True! OKC here! A big Con would be the significant tornado threat.
This whole list was suspect, but there certainly states that are better candidates for "dull terrain" than Oklahoma. Unfortunately, that is the stereotype.

Ok. Normally time stamps are much appreciated, but this was not needed here. For one, the states are represented alphabetically, so just scroll through to your state. That's assuming you know the alphabet. For two, your duration between stamps averages about 5 seconds. So the question is, how impatient are you?

For Connecticut the cold and snowy winters usually isn't a problem as you get used to it the longer you live there. I honestly don't mind the cold.
Me neither rather be cold than hot
i went to middle school in CT. we lived in a 2-story town home, with a garage underneath it. Many kids there were like "oh my god, you're so poor". I might like it there as an adult. But i'm sure the cost of living is quite high :/

as someone who lives in Pennsylvania, i KNEW THEY WOULD MENTION SNOW
Picking snow as a con for Pennsylvania is wild af
As a fellow Arizonan, I will debunk that the living costs are cheap. Phoenix and Mesa costs about the same as LA, along with other cities. Otherwise, the cost if quite low. I would recommend living in Maricopa, Heber, or Holbrook.
Virginia close to nuclear facilities, that tops the list? I'd say DC area bureaucrats increasing taxes

also, for me as an arkansasian, another con of living here in arkansas is stereo types. A lot of people think we have a heavy country accent. We actually don't! (well I don't)
The main con imo is the fucking humidity in the summer, the whole Fuckin state becomes a sauna, also meth, and outside of Pulaski county is the Wild West, and I’m guessing you’re in central Arkansas if you don’t have that accent Source: I’ve lived in this beautiful shithole of a state all my life

You had me look what Haboob was... turns out just a term for Dust Storms. Nice list. As a Canadian, I always fancied maybe moving to the states, places like Arizona, Georgia or somewhere in the southern end of South Carolina really catched my fancy. Mostly to be rid of the snow. But everytime I passed thru these places I was like, why do I waste my time in Canada 😛 Thanks for the vid.
Georgia can have snow and extreme cold, temperature dropped into the single digits farenheight here this winter and big snowstorms may happen once or twice a decade.
Those sound like “pros” because it’s not the norm
Yep. I second this. Getting snowed in during a blizzard in Atlanta one year wasn’t fun at all. Even though blizzards don’t happen every year, if you live in the ATL, you WILL see snow more often than you think.
... PA has worse cons than the amount of snow to shovel... Like awful road conditions that PENNDOT takes FOREVER to fix? Constant construction even in the rural areas? High taxes? The job market sucks here?
Yes that is fact, Washington state is high gas and food prices but nice to live in there.
I live in Michigan and LOVE cloudy weather!
The person who made the video forgot. Michigan is also famous for its cars. (Ford, Chevy)
As a resident of good ol’ WV I have to agree about the roads. Most of the time we wonder what the State is doing. 😅

Michigan Pros and Cons: Pros- Nice warm summers plenty of swimming options. Cons- Weather is unpredictable.
As a born and raised Georgia Boy, I can definitely confirm both the pros and cons. Although we do occasionally get snow every few years
Hawaii Con? I love the isolation here! It encourages the community to share the Aloha!
I think isolation is a good thing in today's world. Because now people are starting to get crazy.
What does “unique personal behaviors” mean exactly in regards to Minnesota?
And the roads in West Virginia ? Because of the terrain it takes longer to get from point A to point be for just going 30 miles !
3:39 As a Pennsylvanian, yeah this is very true. You can get a lot of snow, especially in the northeast part of the state
For the oklahoma one did you go to the western part of the state? It does have lakes but sher there not the same as the sea though
As someone who lives in Texas, while it’s summer time, just have a decent cold body temperature before heading outside and don’t stay outside for too long unless you have a pool.
In Idaho it depends on where you live for the public transport if in the larger city there are plenty of options, but out where I live there are school buses and the buses that transport workers out to the site.
Admin forgot in the video that Idaho is the potato center too
I must defend Oklahoma. Technically yes, we are "landlocked" but we have many beautiful lakes with thousands of miles of shoreline. As far as mostly boring terrain, I suppose that is in the eye of the beholder. I will say that what most people who have never been to Oklahoma, think of when they think of Oklahoma's terrain (flat treeless plains) is a thing. I makes up about a fifth of the total area of the state, out in western and northwestern OK. Actually most of the eastern half of the state is quite forested. I have been to every state in the union except for Alaska and a couple in the northeast and Oklahoma's terrain is anything but boring, and more diverse then most.
In oklahoma , I've heard that there are lots of Native Americans. Other states don't have that many.
There is one working in my front yard right now. He is full blood Cheyenne. He is a direct descendent of Chief Black Kettle... who Custer's troops killed on the Washita river. @@kingfreeman2367
So you really couldn't come up with a 'con' for Minnesota? That one sounds desperate
I think the pro and con got swapped.
I feel like I would say being able to be unique here is a pro, and subzero deadly temperatures in winter is the con here
The fact that winter weather wasn't picked as a con for Minnesota yet it was in other states that have winters that are 1/2 as bad is rather confusing. As far as I'm concerned, bad winter weather is a Pro.
As an actual Minnesotan, I can fill in some blanks. Our taxes are pretty high. Our Healthcare costs are high. Our Winters are brutal cold and Our Summers are blistering hot. Our crime rates consistently go up due to letting in people from various countries with failed governments. The Minnesota nice concept is a myth. Our NFL team will never win a Super Bowl.
No...they did. Its actually the worst con on the whole list. The list said Minnesota has wokies for their con. Of course, they sugar coated the language. But they meant the freaky wokes. Give me any of the other listed cons before you give me the wokies.
Here in Connecticut, it dang sucks because the dang summer can get around to a whopping 105˚ which i can’t handle because my room is basically very icy and cold
As a person who lives in Arizona (the Tucson/Marana area) we can have 10 dust devils at the same time in one specific area during monsoon time plus landslides and major flooding and right before the monsoons we have super hot summers and cold winters
4:49 have yall ever been to sheridan it is a nice town a lot of western stuff visted it and they got a cowboy cafe boy that food is good but the crime rate has been going up my family is thinking about foing back but uhm i dont really wanna and it has a lot of history i have lots of pictures there next time you visit wyoming i reccomend going but there hotels kinda suck
Some of those negatives are in no way bad. Inversely some of those positives aren’t all that good especially with the negative trait. Then again this creator must really hate cold weather.
In Missouri, the high crime is in St Louis City, Kansas City, and Springfield. The suburbs and rural areas dont have the crazy, scary crime.
Born and raised in iowa currently living in Washington
Large amounts of farmland are cons?
Yeah. Who needs farmlands when food comes from the supermarket. 😁
Flat and boring is what they meant for Nebraska.
A lot of these are not well thought out at all. For instance, I’ve lived in Florida for 26 years and alligators are probably the absolute least of my concerns. I see one or two small ones on the bank of the pond across the road from me. But even if I open my front door a good 300 yards away, it scares them and they quickly scurry back into the water. And they’ll likely never attack you unless you’re deliberately messing with them or you happen to sneak up on them and startle them. I’d say the oppressive heat, humidity, thunderstorms, and hurricanes in the summer months are far bigger drawback. As well as some of the ignorant extremist people. Although that’s slowly getting better. At least around larger metros.
Extremist people? What do you mean? Like the Florida man or something else?
I lived in Massachusetts, moved to Florida, and gone to Connecticut about every day in my life (Florida, never seen an alligator but there is an alligator pond across the street) (Massachusetts, so true) (Connecticut, true also)
I do agree, gasoline and groceries are every expensive in Washington.
As a Wyomingite who loves winter and snow, I just see quite a few states with two pros. Also, my dad worked in Georgia, and according to him it actually does snow there.
I can agree about California being expensive but there’s some affordable places and things in California you can look into. It doesn’t matter if your state is expensive or not, it’s how you deal with it. My plan is to move back to California and make it work for me despite of the outcome that might occur. I grew up in California and I’m aware of the crime ratings being high but that’s not gonna stop me otherwise
How can you List North Carolina as having "High Income Tax Rates?? North Carolina is rated as the 23rd lowest out of 50 states, meaning 27 states have higher rates. Monsoon season is actually the best season in Arizona
As a Az resident the cons are not that bad but the 120 heat can be horrible for those not built to it
Arizona's pro is incorrect. The cost of living there has gone up drastically over the past decade and a half. Similarly, the only thing that *was* keeping Arizona's CoL down was housing (which has changed a lot now). The cost of food and utilities in Arizona is same as most other parts of the country. Idaho's pro is going to depend on two things, if you're white/caucasian and where you are. If you're in Northern Idaho and non-white, you will not be dealing with friendly people. Maryland's pro is actually health care. Maryland has some of the best health care options of anywhere in the country.
