Follow-up: based on the best laps in the race itself the gap should’ve been around 4m20s. We’d normally say 10s extra advantage to the faster car for time lost when overtaking, so that brings it down to 4m10s. We left 4m later in this race, so only a discrepancy of 10s based on race lap times vs qualifying lap times. It really was just circumstance in this one, where the majority of the faster drivers (or those who had the better races) were in the faster car. Shame despite the "miscalculations" Broughy still finished where we expected.
This was a pretty fun race. Granted I was the slowest out of everyone, but still managed not to come in last. I felt I had a fairly clean race and hopefully very few issues with those faster drivers passing me.
Edit: nope, iI was wrong. I'm gonna say the speed difference in passing zones made the 5 minute gap. The ZX is so fast that it doesn't matter if they have to slow down a little more in a corner. Where the regular Vigero is slow, if it loses a little time coming out of a corner, that's gonna have consequences at the end of the lap.

I still think there was a calculation error accounting for the HSW Vigero ZX's power advantages over the regular Vigero, especially at the two long straights. The time difference with the remaining 5 laps is just too ridiculous, even if Harry manages to get the optimal race.
If Harry had maintained his best lap pace ahead of the next best Vigero (it likely would have been more since the other vigeros were having more issues that cost them time over and above just raw lap time differences) Harry would’ve finished third overall. The calculation wasn’t anywhere near as off as the results suggest. Any “power advantages on the straights” is accounted for in the lap time calculations.
Bit of a chaotic one, but fun car and fun track. Would love to do this again👍

GG (It's all banter inb4, someone gets triggered) - Legit question: would the races be closer if you calculate the start gaps based on a average time for each "class" from the qualifying? I mean, i'm not suggesting to change how to calculate these fun events or anything. Would take a lot more time on stream to pick all the times, take an average time, calculate, etc etc etc... but could lead to an even close racing at the end? Or you just would be compressing on the "start gaps" the different "skill gaps" and actually create a bigger disparity? Basically what happened on this race? Is just a mental exercise really, not a big deal. Cheers. 😉

Fun race despite the miscalculation on the lap times. Even if Harry didn't have his issue, and assuming he was able to average 3 seconds a lap over the actual Vigero winner, that still only amounts to him winning the Vigero class by 54 seconds. He would have only held the lead for half a lap longer at best.

If I'm correct you can consider the first car v car has the race with 30 different supercar. Not that I think that It would be a great Idea to have as many, but maybe 3, 4 or 5 different car in a that kind of race can be cool too.
