The integration of small grids and the hinges to make the diagonal thrusters are probably part of my favorites. They also make me desire a system of building ships that doesn't impose those limitations of using certain-sized blocks on voxel grids. I imagine many of these people building these ships would have a field day without those kinds of limitations, but perhaps computing the destruction physics of those vehicles would be more costly.

@@MrBigCookieCrumble Yeah that game is getting there I think. The adjustable blocks that you can make is definitely very cool, and a step up from Starbase which unfortunately uses lots of parts instead of what EVO uses. Still, I would love something where the ship designer is basically something like blender. Put the vertices wherever you like.

I absolutely love how coming up the first elevator into the corridor between the main elevator and the bridge creates this feeling of "oh, this ship is a lot smaller on the inside", which is completely blown away when you're taken to the hangar deck. The ship uses space when it's needed, and the contrast between the first cramped space and the bright, wide floor of the hangar gives the tourist a completely new appreciation for every bit of space found in a room, because the ship was clearly designed with the intent of making every square foot count.
The insane amount of Small gridding and Large gridding mix up in this is so creative and impressive
Reminds me a bit of the Constellation from Star Citizen, I like it.

I'd really like it if you could do a segment on these spotlights where you take them through a gauntlet to see how they hold up/fall apart under fire and with speed and manoeuvring. Maybe like a death Star trench run in space and a canyon run on planet?
Its an exploration vessel. Its not meant to be shot at even once.
@@Waldherz I mean to be fair it does have the gun on the top so there is a bit of a precedent plus its not meant to be shot at but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool to see and test out.

I think the entire layout of the ship is just genius. everything was properly thought out ahead of time. This is the kind of thing I would love to build, I just don't have that level of skill. I give this totaly a 10/10 for an exploration ship. Just stay away from any face huggers..........

I think its a beautiful ship and some real great work but I would never, ever, use it in survival.

I love this ship, I just cringe with hinges being expected to hold such a volume of thrusters, they break occasionally and it’s always at a terrible time. The thrust alone can knock them apart but regardless the design is beautiful!

Title formatting is a bit confusing. 'Horizon-100 Exploration Vessel - Space Engineers' would make it more clear that Horizon-100 is the ship model.
The O2 tanks are full，that is why the Airlock outer door not working.
Take it to a Survival setting ... crash it ... then use it as a backdrop for roleplaying, either lone survivor or group survival ...
I pretty sure the gyros don’t work because your piloting it on a subgrid and not the grid with the gyros on

Well I tried to make my ship in space, and doing that, the thrusters wouldn't hold the gravity in planet, like earth. And I for sure crash it, because thrusters isn't enough to push balance. I had hard time to figure out what to do. Really,
