This Simple Trick Will Motivate You For Life (Animated Story)

In this video, I talk about how to become motivated. There is one little trick that we all can do to unlock our motivation, and it’s something that I personally do every single day. I know there are a lot of videos on KZhead that talk about this topic, but I really do believe this is the most important one you could watch.
Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you all enjoy the video.

  • This one took a lot of effort. Really hope you guys enjoy it! **EDIT** After reading some comments, I see that I didn't do the best job ending the story... When Leo was in Poverty, he was motivated because he had to survive. But the reason why he was so successful in the Tourism company, and the reason why he moved up so fast, was because he was grateful to be in a position where he was NOT in Poverty, and he was not in danger. I Should have made that clearer, will learn from the mistake and make the next story better.

    • I don’t necessarily think it’s who you know. That does help yea, but a lot of people don’t have a network of people who can help them. Most are surrounded by people with the same problems and issues. I think if you work hard, consistently, do the right thing, the right people will show up in your life. The kind of people that can put you in a position to succeed, that you may not have been able to achieve on your own!

  • This doesn't happen often, so please read this carefully: After I watched this video, I immediately thought of my mom. She works so hard to put food on the table, and when she comes home she still cleans the house, makes me dinner, and makes the effort to stay awake just to hear how my day went. And me...I'm old enough to get a job. So you know what I did? All those classes I've been getting C's on, I studied secretly at night in my room. I went to the dollar store to buy some organizing materials. I watched KZhead recipes and tutorials and cooked for my mum. She was so happy when she got my report card, I bet your lips would curl upwards if you saw what I saw. She was proud of me, and I was proud to succeed in everything. My goal before this year ends is to be physically strong, slim, and empowering to others. You can do whatever you want to guys. You can tear down those barriers you THINK are untearable. And that's more because of social standards. So i'd reckon that a single parent, regardless of their gender, is even more of a safe bet. We live in a sad world where manipulation and exploitation of our own is the standard. And what's worse is that we hold this on a high regard too.

Gratefulness also cant be motivation just think how can call yourself " I am so lucky", be motivating? I think that he had this conclusion because this can be applied to everyone, not the survival one which makes the most sense.

Elementary and middle school were chaotic for me, and I didn't finish highschool strong enough. I was ditracted in my last two years of highschool, and had forgotten the tears that would run down my mother's eyes because of my educational sloth. Nowadays, Im just mad. Luckily, I finished highschool as a B student, and am going to college now. Witnessing my mom's tears plus the regret of not finishing highschool as strong as I could of; is filling me with ambition, that I wish I gained in my last years of highschool. I know what I need to do moving forward, just wish I'd realized my source of motivation earlier. Please, to all those rising seniors, HS freshman, middle schoolers, college freshman, don't take Education for granted. Don't end up mad and regretful like me.

There is a saying in my culture, that you can take you can choose to take narrow walkways and back alleys all you want, you will still eventually end up on a highway. I was thought that gratitude is the catalyst for all that is good in life and that I should stop anything I am doing (even sleep), in order to reflect on all that I am grateful for and say it out loud a minimum of 19 times through out the day. But as a human, I soon get distracted and then forget. No wonder we, humanity, are literally called "the forgetful one" (in Arabic). Again, thanks for the reminder, for that is the only cure.

Only because it's shown in the video doesn't mean it is a default for each and every person. My advice: Motivation is, when you have your back to the wall and the only way is forward. A mindset that helps is the "Now or never" or "What is my decision at gunpoint". Have a goal, visualize it, imagine the way and do baby steps. Success is the sum of little victories which become a routine. Do a little or you do nothing at all because stagnation is death.

  • Okay - that's a pretty awesome story and Kudos to the creator! Having said that, most if not all of it is pure luck. Of course, making use of every opportunity is key here, however I can say that (and i believe that I speak for many other people) working hard and doing everything in your power rarely if ever results in any positive effects for you. For example, let us imagine that the wealthy person was really altruistic and believed in the poor boy. Let us also imagine that he was focused and structured enough so as to follow up with hip upon their first meeting. That would be great! No doubt about that, however the reality is that most of the times (if not always) you are forgotten, despite the excellent impression you have made. Most of the times, this is due to a degree or some connections (depending on the country) that you may have. This is especially true for countries like Brazil, Eastern Europe region, most of the south African region and some parts of the Middle east. So far, I have been pretty negative, but there are a few ways to get out of this "slum". Firstly, search for some free, government funded classes for a profession you are interested in. Secondly, of course, attend the classes, but in the meantime, ask the tutor about some potential jobs or future development opportunities. The chances are that the tutor is pretty well connected and willing to help anyone given the position he is holding. If the tutor has something particular in mid - great - pursue that! If he does not, he may be able to point you out to some leads and with a little bit of persistence, this will eventually land you a job. This, at the end of the day is the first step - your first job is pretty darn important. After that, you can explore further development opportunities externally or within the company. It is not the dream tale that was told within the vide - I know - however, this is one of the methods that have (to an extent) worked for me and for many of my friends in Eastern Europe. I wish you all the best. Much love and happiness. Be healthy, be happy and pass on the good vibes.

The big majority work hard, try their best to improve their life and of their peers, usually people who succeed, go to college and stuff like that try to take this with them and share inside the favelas. That's why we have so many social groups, independent media, educational programs. So this video would be accurate if Leo tried to create something to help his community, as this help won't come from the government.

I am grateful that the General Manager fought for me to be manager despite the investors wanting me gone when they found out my record... Every day i think about this while i sit here and watch youtube... but i have a friend who was furious beyond reason b/c her parents didnt get her the phone she wanted... Being truly grateful is not something you can explain to someone imo it's something that comes from pain, hurt, and loss from the universe trying to teach us life lessons...

  • Thank you for another great video. After watching the video , I had a different point of view and perspective about Leo. Lately I have been listening to Les Brown and he constantly says the following words. " Do everything with all your heart and mind like if your life depends on it. Because your life truly depends on it." I believe Leo got the motivation to go through the books because he was hungry and his life was on the line due to this chance. We should all carry the mindset of doing everything with all might because like Leo , everything WE NEED to do. Our lives depends on it.

  • This video is about understanding why we feel unmotivated. Every motivational video has a temporary effect on us and unless we understand why we do what we do, we can't expect the effect to last permanently. We need a purpose in life. That should be greater than us. I mean it's not just about earning money but to do something remarkable in this world before we die. This guy does a good job at explaining this to us. Once we have a purpose in life I don't think we would need to come back to KZhead for motivation. Our goal will give us all the energy we need. :)

  • People here never know the feeling of hunger, empty pocket and a person who can help you. It's not sugar daddy or something in life in order to live you need a guidance from other people. Be grateful if people helps you it means you still have hopes to live. You never know what it means to be poor I actually experienced the same way in this story. Now I'm a manager in a big company with the helps of the people who trusted me! Thank u god!

  • He tried so hard to be successful, without the wealthy man, they would be stuck of being poor. I'm glad he got his freedom from poorness, and he got richer than other people now. But us, we have everything and don't worry about anything, we become unmotivated, and think about that we have all the things we need, makes us more lazy. I hope he lives a very good life. He may be poor, but he's more hard-working.
