I was confused initially when he kept appearing in every video, but he's been adding a lot so now I'm happy to see them make these videos as a team. Oh yea and after this video, the editor is having quite a bit of fun aren't they? I appreciate it, because when you notice the editor, it's because they're trying to emphasise what Jonathan is feeling in a way that isn't disruptive. It adds something to the raw footage that might otherwise be quite dry.

The hidden gun, the artillery from Brotherhood, the cannons from Black Flag and Rogue, the air gun from Rogue (which has a grenade launcher attachment, I believe), the firing lines and battle missions from 3 with the musket warfare, the musket combat in 3 and Black Flag which actually uses the bayonet as well as the musket, the wheellock (?) that Cesare uses in Brotherhood, the various guns from Unity and Syndicate, the Greek Fire mission from Revelations, the grenade system from Revelations, the wrist crossbow from Unity, the crossbows from Brotherhood and Revelations, the gun-sword combination weapons in several games (Black Flag, for instance), etc. For a franchise that isn't really often thought about for its firearms and similar, there are a remarkable number of really interesting things to talk about throughout the franchise, I think.

In fact, you can see in the gameplay footage how the player is adjusting their point of 'aim' to account for the simulated muzzle rise (and sway, in the case of some of the more difficult guns, but the CZ75's "recoil pattern" is mostly vertical).

Rather an issue with the gearbox that is required to fit in there. The actual place the electrical gubbins pose an issue for the airsoft(AEG) derived AR platform is in the pistol grip - because it needs to fit the (quite thick) motor and at a specific angle, the entire thing is kinda off.

  • The R8 does actually hold 8 rounds of .357 Magnum or .38 Special and both rounds are interchangeable as a lot of cops that worked for Police Departments that actually issued .357s or allowed personal firearms back in the old days would practice with .38 Special and save the full bore magnums for actual patrol use. The R8 was intended mainly for SWAT Shield Carriers hence why it had both an Optics and Laser/Light Rail it's a bit easier to use a revolver with a shield since you don't have to worry about potential limp wrist induced jams.

  • I hope you will verify, I belive some CS:GO and CS2 models are the same depending on the skin, probably due to geometry changes im pretty sure old skins use old csgo models and only unskinned models used the highly acurate (for a game) newer models, because i see you taking a look at the pp-bizon space cat, and the m4a4 mainframe. please take a look.

  • As for the AWP being stronger then the Steyr Scout. The AWP used to be AWM (chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum) in the mod betas, before it came a game of it's own (after being acquired by Valve), So , I guess, that's where the discrepancy comes from.. (Also bit of shade thrown on the previous video saying that AWP is from the "original")

    @yujiko_ineluki@yujiko_ineluki7 ай бұрын
  • There was a time in CSGO where you could shoot accurate headshots from jump on Scout if you timed the apex right. For some reason the gun wouldn't suffer from inaccuracy in that context. It was a fabulous save round buy because you could really make a number with it, getting some really high value kills in a relatively cheap method and cheap cost.

  • I'm surprised that not only Dave nor mr. Ferguson noticed the weird finger movement. When firing automatic weapons, fingers do not squeeze the trigger like irl, they freak out instead as if they are pressing trigger for each single bullet. That's extremely noticable when using high rate of fire weapons like p90

But because it is basically an AWP pistol because this thing have higher damage than DE while also good at any range. It became broken over night. To the point that players complains about it and Valve have to gone and nuke the revolver to the ground.

And it was harder to modify it to full-auto (might be wrong on this one). The DC9 was made after Californian gun laws, and the DC in TEC-DC9 literally means "Designed for California".

  • 7:25 "There is this disconnect between where the reticle is and where the muzzle of the model of the gun is." Yeah. I noticed that with most of these guns, and it's probably true of most FPS these days. It's not noticeable when you are shooting from range, but most video game guns won't reorient to actually aim the barrel where the reticle is at close range, like shooting a shipping crate 10 feet in front of you
