124 SPIDER! This weekend felt like I traveled to Tuscany to experience the brilliant Abarth 124 Spider, so criminally underrated! My honest opinion? No joke one of my favorite cars I have ever driven and people are stupid for letting it die…the car lived between 2017-2020 just because nobody bought it. Heartbreaking story indeed.
This model is up for grabs at @clutchncarb for $23,500. I JUST wish I had that kind of money laying around…
“It’s slow” dude how about you stfu and listen for a second. It’s 10 times more fun than your overpriced electric shitbox. Ok it makes only 170 PS but it weighs ONLY 1,000 kg…I’d choose this low-power/lightweight combination over a 500 HP car that weighs 2 tons. Experience one and you’ll know exactly what I mean. Driver engagement was never about high speeds and neck-breaking 0-100 times. Sure this thing takes 7 seconds to reach it, but remember it’s the journey that counts not the destination. Ok
It's compact and easy to handle. I was grinning ear to ear the entire time I was behind the wheel, enjoying the Abarth 4-pot growl. It’s got Bluetooth, a super easy retractable soft top, a red analog gauge, limited slip differential, and a scorpion on the long hood. Take my money.

I've had mine since 2017... amazing daily have about 82,000 miles on it. ZERO issues! Just gotta take care of your baby :)

I love how people joke about the small boot in this car. It's obviously big enough to hold an overnight bag for two, plus something like his camera case below in that well. As for the top, the original 124 had two latches, but it could also be raised or lowered while sitting in the seat. I don't know why there are so many automatic transmission versions of these. I'd love to have one if I could find it with three pedals. (in the eastern US)

I had a 2017 Abarth and sold it during the pandemic for more than I bought it for. Was so much fun and I really miss it. Find myself looking for a black one now. Never had any issues with it. People would approach me all the time about it.
Greetings from Israel, neighbor 😊 I own a 2017 abarth 124 spider, automatic, that's the only version imported to Israel, and there are about 8-14 of those here, so it's really rare. How rare ? I can easily sell it today for 150% the price I paid. I have to say, that in my opinion you just nailed it. You got the essence of this car. It's not the fastest, nor the best accelerator, definitely not the most powerful, but it's the most fun car to drive. Fact ! Also the comment about the brakes- very accurate. Well, I wish that we were living in better days, days in which we could enjoy a ride together. One of my dreams is to drive my abarth to Lebanon. I heard that it's a beautiful country. Drink arak in zahle. See the majestic cedars of Lebanon (I am a woodworker, and live this wood and tree). Keep on riding ! Wish you all the best.

They come with removable cup holders so your passenger can still have their bubbles or beer. There is a storage compartment behind each seat for the corkscrew and a couple of extra cans too!
Does it have Android Auto?
Abarth never offered the Android Auto upgrade. It's still possible to do though, but fairly complex. You need to install the MX5 upgrade and then crack the firmware and "Rebrand" it to remove the Mazda logos.
Yes, you can get free software online and it allows you to make lots of tweaks to the infotainment system, like Android Auto and Videos and digital speedometers, etc. I have them all on mine.
