Stop buying these FAKE smartwatches!!

The Indian smartwatch market is so chaotic that it's getting confusing for users to decide what's real. These brands import watches from China and sell them here in India for 10 times more prices than what they should be. The data these smartwatches provide is very inaccurate so it just doesn't make any sense to buy these cheap smartwatches. So here's a breakdown of why you should stop buying these fraud smartwatches.

  • Well, lemme share my experience. I went to the local watch shop to buy a watch, and I was asking for a simple analogue titan watch(my budget was around 7000). The shop owner tried to convince me again and again to buy a smartwatch, saying "you're a gen z guy, analogue watches are for older people". As I'm aware of this "import from China" story, I asked some questions about the same, and the shopkeeper was really offended. 😂

Because electronics become outdated very soon from both hardware and software aspects. One of My grandfather had allwyn watch. I told him to give it to me if he ever thought of giving it to some one.😁

    • as a watch collector, I've tried smartwatches. used it for around 4-5 months. it's terribly unnecessary and got annoyed when i had to charge it every single day. an automatic watch needs a hand wind or a shake after two days and takes about 30 seconds max, whereas it'd take 2-3 hours for a smartwatch to fully juice up. it doesn't make sense. but have to admit how a lot of people wears a watch at least for the sake of smartwatches

  • Wasn't expecting much when I clicked the link, but this video was quite insightful. That's for making this. In a volatile, price-sensitive, "aspirational" market where the masses prefer to buy cheap, flashy products just to look cool, trying to imitate popular culture instead of buying quality goods out of their own interest & saving up to buy those things - quality goods can never go mainstream - as there will be several imitators in competition selling inferior goods for cheap. It's in our own interest to know what the prices of certain products are currently (as offered by good companies), and to buy goods selectively, instead of letting our insecurities ruin our overall quality of experience & peace of mind, giving fame/money to companies/CEOs who clearly don't deserve it.

Majority of people who buy this watches don’t even use it except to check time that too very rare case. I don’t even recommend these watches to anyone. Need a smartwatch get apple or samsung or pixel as simple as that. Can’t afford it, just wait for sales. • Great Video, Private labelling is not bad, to be honest. India as a market is huge, and so is the demand. There are tons of Chinese manufacturers who have already done a lot of R&D and making really great products. If someone in India finds a niche where they can target a customer base and provide a great product, then it's fine if it's privately labelled because ultimately customer needs a great product and service no matter if the R&D is done by them or 3rd party. The problem comes when the brand over-promises and spends more money on marketing than customer service. Import great products, market them and provide the customer with excellent service, make money and start working on R&D and building products In India for the world.

Basic thing that people forget while buying is the the fact of how much accuracy the device has regarding tracking 😅 also to note that all the info stored while installing a Chinese app is obviously going to be sold. • Kudos to you for calling out these companies. I personally feel instead of buying 3-4 smart bands (fake smaetwaches) and then keep getting fix for them is not a Smart move, instead don't buy any smart bands (read fake smart watches) or better go for Samsung Galaxy watch series (for android users) I just hope we get more better options than Samsung in android space.

  • Thanks KZhead for recommending this channel. Great video. I am an avid Apple fan boy and deep into eco system. I saw this Fire Boult watch which looked exactly like Apple Watch Ultra but circular in shape. Don’t know why, I instantly ordered one to check out. I wore it for 15mins. Crap UI, not the best of build quality, user experience is not at par (May be I was comparing that with my Apple Watch- I have bee wearing different series for almost 8 years now). As you said, people buy them because they are cheap, look fairly good. May be, this was learning experience for me and I am never going to buy or recommend any of these so called cheap smart watches to anyone.

    • Look man I bought it for my teenage girl, it's the least they can wear before earning anything, she's fit and fine. The watch face and time is enough. It's a good choice for parents to give it to their children for fancy. She will buy it for herself when she could afford a good one but, not now. I am telling you this because you seem to be old having all the apple watch generations and to be mature. I earn a good living but still wearing a a casio watch for 7 years now and I am very healthy by God grace.

Apart from Apple and Samsung which are the other brands that we can trust?
