The Chicago Auto Show this year experienced a downsizing, with notable absences from major car manufacturers like Audi, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Infiniti, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche, and Tesla.   • This show once again proves that the auto industry in the USA and Europe has remained in the last century. Perhaps the Japanese and Koreans will be able to present something interesting, although they will still look more like they are catching up with China than as leaders.

    • I kinda agree and disagree at the same time. See I love Japanese cars but their infotainment interface system is not up there. The colors the layout and everything else. The designs in German is more classic yet modern. The Asian cars looks more toy ish looking. However they do have good designed. What do you think ?

    • @@sargonmedia Let's compare, for example, the Lixiang Li9 and any Japanese or German car that costs 60-70 thousand dollars, even if it is simply not equipped with electronics and new technologies, for example, LEDARs that detect road unevenness and reconfigure the suspension in milliseconds relative to the quality of the road. And I’m generally silent about sound insulation and interior materials. This is all done better than in a Mercedes Q class which costs around 100 thousand dollars. Here you can forget about the multimedia system on the second row, which is larger than my work monitor))) And the Li9 is far from the newest car.
