Not likely Thao... The way he got thrashed by Ma Long at the Rio Olympics Final may mean Jike is on the downfall. He looks tired and unmotivated.

The music at the beginning is Chinese traditional instrument Er hu, pretty nice, hmm? i like Zhang's coach Xiaozhan's multiball training and his baldness, looks cool! and his motion is so beautiful.
Its Posible that Zhang Jike was the most natural talent table tennis player, and Ma long the stronger yours matchs are legendarys and It will be remembered as the best in the history of this sport.

Waldner was the greatest with the 21point sets. ZJK was the best with old balls and 11 points in a set. And ML is the greatest with the new balls

a comparison like that isn't really reasonable, but if we were to entertain it I think you have to favor Zhang Jike - Waldner was able to beat many Chinese by abusing the weakness of only having one strong wing as many Chinese players (mostly penholders) did back then. It's easy to see Zhang Jike is incredibly strong on both wings while still possessing the speed many of the old Chinese players did. Not to mention Zhang Jike is excellent at serve return and blocking, which would mitigate (I'll admit it probably wouldn't nullify) Waldner's serve/followup game

Zhang Jike won 5 grand slam titles, while Waldner has 4. Zhang Jike won more major titles in a much shorter period of time. I don’t get Waldner fans always harping on about the GOAT title when it is clear that Waldner is not even better than Zhang Jike in terms of winning record let alone Ma Long.

@@Magnanimous_ Waldner has more medals in the WTTC and he beat greater players for his Olympic silver in 2000 whereas ZJK beat only a 40yo Samsonov.He has more accolades than ZJK.The World Cup isn't a major.Winning in shorter period doesn't mean much since he won most of his finals against the same player Wang Hao.You can say he owned WH but so did Ma Lin.He destroyed his body in no time, Wang Hao would have actually won the Grand Slam if he were allowed to compete in 2016.

2011-2014 dominated everyone. just look at the facts. FZD was just a kid, a very talented one yes but still a kid. he lost to all big three in the internal trials 2016. so the title actually fits for when the video was made.

Great video. Except for the end which claims Jike is the greatest of these champions. He's he's not the greatest statistically, nor is he the greatest charismatically (most likeable), nor is he the greatest creatively nor is he the most fun to watch. So all and all he really isn't that great.

He is one of only four people to ever win a grand slam so I wouldn't go around saying he really isn't that great. If he were to win his second grand slam, then he would be the greatest ever due to the simple fact that no one else has ever done so. Not saying he will or won't, just saying.
