    • Rodgers statistically at the end of his time with McCarthy to his first year with Lafleur had declined even though they went 13-3 and got blown out by the 49ers in the NFC Championship in Lafleurs first year so the writing was on the wall maybe they should look at a future secession plan. The Packers never thought he was gonna win another 2 MVPs after they drafted Jordan. After the 2 MVPs though he had arguably his worst year since he was a first year starter so it made it easy to justify trading him.

When spending a top 10 pick on a back up you're telling your team we're looking towards the future. You're also telling kirk you're on the clock and you probably wont finish the deal you just signed. You're also telling your 24 year old rookie qb with superstar talent that he cant make a mark in this league until he's like 27 or 28. This is so dumb

    @Belsfc9999@Belsfc999917 күн бұрын

  • Who in the flying F expects Cousins to finish 2 years. It’s not 200 million it’s 90 million guaranteed. I love the pick.

  • Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love each sat for three years. Mahomes sat for one year. Cousins can start for three years while Penix learns. They can trade Cousins heading into year four and start Penix, depending on how far they go into Super Bowl contention. If Penix shows promise, the Falcons can pick up Penix's fifth-year option and work on his massive second contract.

  • The real MVP in all these Kirk Cousins discussions is his agent. His contract discussions since being in the NFL need to be studied.

  • I think this conversation is the reason why NFL is great. Because In other sports it’s draft than free agency

    • No he isn’t ! He’s just conservative like the cowboys . He’s a dak homer too ! That’s why he feel so connected to cousins .. cousins ain’t that guy . 1 playoff win , less than .500 record in career against teams over .500 .
