People forget Geelong won the 2022 GF by 14 Goals. This is almost the same team….slightly younger, slightly quicker, more balanced, and still as damaging as hell. On the weekend the game was over at Qtr time in reality ….a ten minute burst of power footy saw 7 goals to 1. It was no contest. They’re the true flag faves, with the Demons.

@BS21BS21 freo had a bad year last year, unconsistent team and young, people forget the season before that they finished 2 points shy of a top 4 finish and come from 42 points behind in a final to win. I put $50 on Carlton vs freo last preseason, I thought Carlton would rise, I feel I went a year early so backed the bet up this year. Also got a multi freo and Carlton top 4

@BS21BS21 predict something wild every year, everyone just predicts what ever garbage the media say, 80% of the time they don't know crap, I would listen to certain fans before media, fans are fully invested into 1 club and these days know more than the media on there chosen club.
Just a question for whoever wants to comment, the crows were my 2nd team last year, just wanting some change in the 8. So can a coach really change how these blokes play in one pre season? I’ve never played afl so just wondering, wouldn’t you just revert to how you used to play?!
It’s possible I guess but sometimes I think fans just have to reliase their team just doesn’t have the talent to make the top 4 let alone top 8. I think new development staff and recruiters will make the biggest difference to a teams final contention

Geelong won a Gf by 14 goals 18 months ago. Spent all of 2023 injured and missed finals Have had the longest pre season they’ve had in 15 years and this years team is slightly younger, quicker and might be better than the team that won in 2022. They’ll make the prelim no question. Win that they in the GF
I'm a mad Geelong supporter but agree with you. I wanna see the young kids go against a real contender and then we will see how much they have improved. Also our mids definitely need to lift a bit.
Not a Geelong supporter but ladder positions mean nothing at this point in the year lol. And those ladder positions are largely due to their loss to Geelong.
