We can celebrate Ashanti without pitting her against other women. She's a quintessential RnB act of the 2000s decade and defines the landscape of that genre before crunk & electropop took over.

    • Exactly, unlike a lot of artist who tend to lose the significance in their voices (over time) that we come to cherish & love, hers actually got better, but not just her voice but also the way she carries herself on stage with the new fierce attitude (at least to me anyway) & I ain't even gon' talk about how perfect her body looks OMG 😍😍😍

  • Being a grown woman now hearing the lyrics to her songs definitely hits different. I won't ever stop listening to her or a bunch of artist from the 90s and early 00's. The best years of my life. Just a few good artist are left these days.
