The s pen is probably the best because when it's freezing outside and you have to wear very thick gloves you can't really touch anything on the phone. But with the s pen you can do it :)
But you can't get it out with gloves 😂

I can hardly get the pen out with my phone case. With real rugged gloves it would absolutely be impossible. However, tie a half-inch thread to the pen and you could remove it with oven mitts....
@@nicholas2932 okay.....but how about take off one glove, then take out the s pen and put the glove back.
@@freepin4013 if I took my glove off, ill use my fingers at that point. Assuming I'm not in insane weather... I assume many others would also... so I thought an unobtrusive string would be a good solution. If only tying it on for the ski trip.

Good video for people new to S pen. During smart select, you forgot the most powerful part of it: extracting text quickly from any part of what is on-screen. It is a lot easier than screenshotting to extract just a little bit of text.
I'm a software engineer student and when you whipped out the integral I instanly felt a sense of relief. You see I'm upgrading in a few days from my trusty S8 to the S23 Ultra (just waiting for it to arrive actually) and I always had trouble with photomath and wolframalpha. Just sometimes typing in the math problem took a long time, but seeing that I can literally write it down just made me so happy for some reason. It's a small thing but these add up. Great video, thank you! :)

Thanks for your video, some great things in here like the microsoft equation solver - I'm also a math and stats prof, so it may come in handy for my work. How many of these are unique to the S23 Ultra? I have the z fold 4 - are there any that I can't use? Maybe Glance is kinda pointless for me since I can have multiple windows open when the screen is opened up.

Excellent vid. I have been using the note series since like forever, but I only ever use the pen to take screen shots as a rule. I have to branch out!
I also use the S Pen as a remote control for the camera.

What's Google Keep notes like please? Does it have a decent word search now? When I last used it on a Pixel I could search individual words for example..

I've used the s pen since the note 2, as an electrician, I use it to keep note of lighting layouts and positions, with a diagram and measurements, keeping notes of electronic door codes, jobs I've been on, names and addresses, materials lists, lost count the amount of times I've looked for a paper and pen, now I've got a never ending note pad, and bits of paper get lost. The remote camera shutter is a great idea too. I've got the magnifier on a shortcut, push the s pen button and tap screen twice to bring it up.
It's a beast!!
Can you make notes during call so this notes added to call or what in notes will added contact with who you talking.
I had a small problem with my Smart Select on my Note 10+. Trying to navigate the pen 🖊 as to what I wanted to edit, save, ect. Well Edge Panels took care of that. Don't need my s-pen to screen save an item. I set up my Edge Panels and now I have Pin to Screen. I can edit, and save it to my Gallery.
Hey you mentioned you work as a Math teacher by day ... I'm thinking of switching from my Iphone pro max 12 to s23 ultra for that reason - school (work) .. Is this phone good for online school work?

Hey Jeff. Do magnetic cases ruin/damage the pen at all? Or does it just create lag or skips in the writing/drawing?
No on damage but many of them do mess up the writing fluidity. One that doesn't mess it up is called MagBak and I'll have a review on my channel soon for it!!!

Why is it that you (on your english device) cant "pin" the screen-off-note, while I got a little pin next to the "save" button to pin it for 30 minutes to my AOD?

Im having troubles with the s23 ultra S-pen disconnecting all the time. It works, but get a screen message saying its disconnected, what to do for fix?
I got the same problem. There's a switch under more s pen options which says keep s pen connected.

Indeed use keep s pen connected. It will drain a tiny more battery but it's worth it

Every time I take the S Pen out when the phone is locked, it populates the screen with a keypad to enter my PIN and unlock the phone? I never get a dark screen to write on?

Hmmm perhaps go in to settings on your s pen and make sure it is paired?
