Dolores O’Riordan and The Cranberries perform ‘Dreams’.
Introducing The Cranberries, Pat Kenny reads out a few of the things critics have been saying about the Limerick band.
No band since The Smiths have sounded quite so spectacularly vulnerable.
These are the most beautiful notes you’ll ever get to hear outside La Scala.
The lineup features Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan, Feargal Lawler and Dolores O’Riordan.
The band perform the song ‘Dreams’ from their debut album ‘Everyone Else is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’
This episode of ‘Kenny Live’ was broadcast on 6 March 1993. The presenter is Pat Kenny.
‘Kenny Live’ was a Saturday evening talk show on RTÉ Television presented by Pat Kenny. First broadcast on 15 October 1988 it ran until 22 May 1999.

  • What's incredible to me is there is like zero reverb on her voice and she's still dominating. That's so hard to hit those notes even with a little extra umph coming from the reverb and she's just like "nah I'm good." RIP Delores!

  • As a middle aged Mexican American who grew up poor in what was essentially the ghetto, one of the most beautiful things about music is to hear the beautiful melodies of all the different cultures from around the world. What else besides music could someone like me and where I grew up have such a beautiful experience with another person’s culture? There’s something beautifully primitive about listening to the faint sound of ancestors, and some artists are really good at channeling their ancestors, the cranberries was one of those bands. Gorgeous melodies, and Delores had such a beautiful accent to compliment those melodies.

  • Man this was my go to song when my heart needed to be lifted up. I loved this song so much. Dolores voice was so beautiful. I played the heck out of that album. It was my favorite.
