- Okay so I see that some are really struggling with my use of the word finally. I didn't mean that Tamar's music is usually meaningless, I meant that most music on the radio these days is empty, no real storyline or anything, not even in contemporary R&B. Another incredibly underrated Tamar Braxton song. Honestly, she has sooo many great records that are slept on it's ridiculous. She also slaaayed both her performance of this at the BET Awards and Blind at Soul Train... like I mean, RAW vocal slayed and everybody went crazy. As a Tamartian who ain't tryna be biased though... all this social media BS she kept getting herself wrapped into these past these months only damaged what she's done good musically, yet again. There shoulda been less focus on the T&V show and more promotion for the album too... she was on The View the other day, swear she never even plugged the album? or mentioned it? She needs to release Hol' Up or Run Run quick time as her up tempo while the album ain't completely dead yet.. forreal
