My gas light came on and I had over 40 minutes left to drive at 4 in the morning without a dime in my pocket and no gas stations in sight...I kept repeating in my head God get me home...and wouldn't you know it I made it all the way home on E...even had enough gas to start my car the next morning and get to a gas station...it may not be much to some but I felt pretty damn lucky for that...

This is so NOT a real human narrator. Listen to the cadence and rhythm. The pauses are off. And some parts are obvious. Like a human would say the word "pounds," not lbs. I'm just saying, really listen to what you're hearing.

I’m totally positive because I’m blessed in more ways than I can count !
This is so difficult to do when you’re surrounded by toxic people. It took me years to realise that it wasn’t me who was negative and that it’s my environment and family that was making me think that way. I rarely get positive reinforcements but mainly the opposite, and as a result negativity has become my norm. And I don’t realise I’m doing it until somebody points it out sometimes. I’ve had so many bad experiences and just couldn’t understand why when I don’t go out of my way to be mean to people or treat people bad. I tend to get praise for being positive and my personality from others sometimes, but as soon as I am having a down day I’m treated like a bad person by everyone which I don’t understand. Because depression is usually a result of horrible circumstances. I’m unfortunately still in that bad environment, but I keep trying my hardest to be positive although it’s very hard to maintain it. I hope I’ll be in a great place one day though! I always still manage to have that little hope. 😊

Whether it's AI or a human voice, it is beautifully spoken and can be listened to often. My advice to you (if I may be permitted) is, now you've listened to this, each day/week (depending on your available time), choose a chapter that resonates with you and start to implement the tips and activities into your daily life. And praise yourself at the end of each day for the progress you've made. Don't dwell on any negatives if you haven't succeeded, just say at least I tried and I'll try again tomorrow. I understand negative people, I work in a job that brings them all to me. I smile, and am pleasant, and I've found that those people open up to me, and my positivity tends to run off on them, rather than the other way around. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it is really hard and I don't succeed. And I've still not mastered, but I try. And every morning I do a gratitude ritual; when I forget or don't have time, I notice the difference in my day. I hope this helps. I send you blessings, and I hope you find inner peace. ❤

I almost feel sorry for this writer who focuses so much on specific goals. It might work in the small things, like writing a clear shopping list. But in the big picture, it is not the way forward. Things never turn out exactly as you imagined, but often things turn out better than you could dream of. Focus on systems and processes for development instead of specific goals. Meditate, read, journal, be grateful, nurture, love, be positive and grateful, etc. None of this may be something you see as an end goal, but good habits put into a system will lead to completely unpredictable wonderful results better than you could ever dream or visualize. Do not limit your future with narrow goals, set in a time when you were less in everything.
He suggested most of what you mentioned we should do. He also said life isn't linear and things don't always turn out how we wanted, but instead we will be redirected. Did you listen to the entire book?

@@victoirethondo2922 Not really. Many of these types of books are quite old, and their publishing rights have expired. As a result, many KZheadrs are using them to create audiobooks. I listened to another one similar to this that I believe was originally written back in 1902. Although these books are old, they remain very useful today.

This is gold! It is so well written and covers so many good topics. In fact, it is so similar to a book I am writing, however most of the topics that share a similarity are covered in greater depth in my upcoming book, plus there are additional topics I introduce. I don't represent any ideas as luck, however, but I like how it's used here. There are a handful of topics here I didn't write about, and I appreciate that they are included. As inspiring as they are, I can't allow myself to be prompted to include them too in my book, as it has already become quite lengthy. There are a few topics that were actually covered in greater depth, as I only briefly touched on them.
