I can actually notice the difference. Areas where my iPhone 11 Pro is kicking on night mode, the 12 is has no trouble. The 12 is also notably sharper due to better focus. It's not a large step up, but it's definitely notable.
@@AustinRoss it's negligible I mean it's was 5% better probably and that's only really and that overall whole 5% is from night mode..the night mode of the 12 is superior to the 11 but that's it I'm regular day light there's little to no improvement overall bro

Tech KZheadrs continue to be obsessed with fast refresh rates and bezels. The vast majority of users just don't care.
It's because smartphones are reaching a point where its just as bland and boring as laptops. They're thin, powerful, and are already an all screen phone. Regular consumers are caring less about the features and more so just having something that works. 120hz is just something for tech youtubers to hype up when all it is is just smoother scrolling. Once phones become too similar, what's next? My guess is AR Glasses
ikr i can barely tell the difference between 60 and 120hz like almost no one cares about that
I will gladly give up with 120Hz and thin bezels for longer battery and lower price.
@@laurasita8617 you can easily tell, you just don't have one in hand. Do you like your car when it runs smooth but you can feel bumps or do you like your car when it goes smooth and feel no bumps? I couldn't think of other comparison lol. I love both sides but the fact that iPhones lack in so called innovation they claim is a fact and they cost usually on par or more with competition which basically has that price because of brand but competition brings more bang for the buck.
@@zabunko i have an iphone 7, 3 and a half years old, and it runs perfectly smooth. im not saying its impossible to tell the difference, but the average customer probably won't notice it in their daily lives idk. im not an apple fangirl, the only apple product i own is the iphone and i completely agree with the criticism it gets, but i decided to get an iphone 11 instead of the galaxy s20 because i do feel that the iphone suits me better in general (also because the s20 in brazil comes with that exynos chipset which is just bad). but i get your point
I actually thought the 11 looked better in low light than the 12 in your pictures. The 12 is brighter obviously, but it doesn’t look as balanced as the 11 at night.

I guessed the iPhone 12 right, but it was very hard to tell. The photos looked essentially identical in most cases, except for the lowlight/ night mode shots.

I have an 11 and keeping it for 3 years. Makes no since to upgrade with iPhones when there is hardly any upgrade with new line ups each year.
I almost jumped for the better LTE, but that’s a lot of cash for that being the only thing I care about. My current iPhone is pretty quick. It unfortunately slows sometimes where I live. I decided to ultimately wait a year or two more for a couple more perks.

@@hashcloud6308 If you want to save money go with the 11 if you are willing to spend extra money for the 12 THATS good too they are both great phones. But the 12 doesn’t have much difference from the 11 except the screen and color. Again the 11 is cheaper. I recommend getting the 11 because they’re is not much difference from the 12. But again if you are trying to save get the 11. If you are willing to spend extra money get the 12

When looking at the pictures comparisons, I personally prefer the slightly warmer shot in lowlight from the 11 in night mode. Both look amazing but I tend to lean on the warmer side. But at the same time, the 11 has an aperture of f/1.8 compared to f/1.6 which allows the 12 bring in more light into the subject. But again, both are a amazing cameras and the 11 can still hold its own

I really love your video. I picked the 11 yesterday and I am coming from the OnePlus 7. I will be honest with everyone, android and Iphone are so much alike it is really difficult telling which is better. I am a bit more tech enthusiast and I was looking at performance, but I don't think anyone will see the difference except in video qualities. The 11 is very good for the price now. I will say pick the 11 and you will never be disappointed. It is snappy and don't pay attention to all this theory of screens. You won't even notice it with a screen protector (and less even if you get a color tainted screen protector). Iphones are snappy so as android. I don't think I am overwhelmed using my Iphone 11 because I would always go back to my Oneplus in the night to use twitter and few other apps. Haptic feedback is awesome on iphones but don't be fooled by a lot of geeked out tech comments. Stick to your budget and get what makes you happy. Almost all 2020 flagships are awesome but I will definitely move back to android because I find myself drooling over customization on android everytime but Iphones are really awesome.
True, I think the XR is definitely worth it for the price right now as well. In Canada the 11 is still quite expensive.

I've used iPhone since the 4 in 2010 and I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max in Silver, but that Pacific blue color on the 12 Pro is absolutely gorgeous! I should have waited to upgrade, but there's still no USB charging and no 120 HZ refresh rate.

I got it correct hahaha observing each detail there is a definite difference. Although its very subtle but it makes a difference, the lighting, sharpness, contrast and the feel that pictures are giving are actually different between the two.
I have the iPhone 11 Pro and absolutely love it. It’s the only camera I take with me anywhere I love trying to get that impossible shot with a cell phone. I absolutely hate night mode I want the shot to look the way I see it , I don’t want fake lighting and if my photo comes out on the darker side that’s what I am visually seeing . I also hate this squared off iPhone I love the rounded edges so I will probably keep my iPhone 11 Pro until they will no longer support It I love it that much.
That night mode shot really gave the iPhone 12 away They really did improve it quite a bit when you compare side by side
I’m struggling to decide to go with the 11 or the 12. I have no budget. However the camera to me seems better on the 11. I know the specs suggest otherwise but the photos seem better. I don’t care about the screen or design all too much. Any advice on which to get? Is the processor and 5G enough to pick it over the 11 anyway?
For me definitely maybe you just want an 11 to be sufficient the good thing is that you are team iPhone so that's a win
I‘m using a 6T and I wat to switch to an iPhone. But I‘m absolutely unsure whether it should be an 11 or 12. And a big part of that decission is money....I‘ll probably go with the 11. Coming from an OLED on the 6T I always liked Apple screens no matter if LCD or OLED and 5G is not that usefull right now.

Honestly I think everyone is rushing these reviews and are not taking good enough photos. I picked my iPhone 12 up today and the camera quality is much better than what I've been seeing people upload. Compression, uploading not done well? I don't know, still a good vid though thanks!

Hello, I have been a samsumg user for many years, the last sasumg I had were the Galaxy note 8 and then the Galaxy note 9. And above the galxy s9. These phones have a super amoled screen more oled and more than full HD, that if they are better than any ihpone screen, since one day I compared my note 9 with an ihpone 11 pro max from a friend, and my note 9 had more colors and more resolution. Now a month ago I changed to ihpone to test the ihpone 11 and it is a wonderful phone and I love its lcd screen, they have great colors. So don't be guided by marketing, buy what you like and need.

Can you do a iphone 12 vs iphone 11 pro? I think since iphone 12 and 12 pro is so similar now maybe comparing to 11 pro would be useful to many since 11 pro would likely drop a lot in price over next few months

I’m a professional photographer and while I have a trained eye and could see the difference, there is nowhere near enough difference this year to upgrade from the 11 line, particularly the 11Pro which I have. Not to mention there’s a bit less battery this year. The only way I would consider upgrading is to the Max with the larger processor and Sensor Shift, but that size.....yeah not so much. The 11Pro is the Goldie Locks zone for size, so I’ll hold off until next year and hope that the 13’s have the larger processor, sensor shift, more proliferated 5G AND better battery life. - Excellent vid. 👍🏼

Definitely hard to justify upgrading from 11 to 12 for most people. It’s a little easier though if you factor in trading in your 11.
I would like to upgrade from iPhone 6s. I used my iPhone as my work phone (thus I just need it to work reliably to answer call, messages, or email), otherwise I use my Galaxy S10 for media consumption. What would be your recommendation: iPhone Xr / iPhone 11 / iPhone 12 mini? I would likely use this phone for a long time until I upgrade it to the newer version. Please keep in mind that 5G won't be available in my country until at least 2024.

**EDIT** just to clarify, im speaking about edges mostly here***.. So somethings REALLY been bothering me about the footage im seeing from the iPhone 12 tests. there's this strange effect on moving things. it almost looks like bad optical flow. I've seen it fringe people walking past busy background textures like bricks, etc. on KZhead you can frame by frame by hitting the "," and "." keys (comma and period). using this method, if you watch this video and pause at 0:54 and frame by frame, you can see the motion blur on your hands has a very sharp edge on the tops of the fingers. this is not good if its coming from the camera. im ready to buy the 12 but noticing these things have me worried. im shooting for VFX work and this will be very problematic. just wondering if you used any optical flow on this video or any other time based processing that might be causing this. thanks so much

if you're really techy. you would know that that sharpness added can be done in ip11 using photo editors so still not worth the upgrade for the camera unless your into the night mode wide angle.

Here's the thing (at least for me) most of us are familiar with the iOS, we know there'll be general improvements, all good but day to day not a radical difference which leaves the "new" phone design which at least on video is very ho hum. The colours are been there, done that, a bit shinier but mostly whatever. (fyi I have a 10 max s). Least excited I've ever been re new iPhone.

The only time worth upgrading is skipping a few generations and I learned this when I upgraded from my 6 to my 7 then I upgraded recently from that 7 to the 11
