Plus, I'm sure the ability to rope swing, or at the very least, to be able to learn it, would be a standard that the actor who auditions for the role of Tarzan would have to agree to and meet.

They probably did bleed at the start, then just healed back and developed callus over time which now protects his feet and makes his bare feet better for climbing and moving in the forest than shoes. • This man is truly impressive! What an exhilarating experience it is just watching him. What a powerful, confident, completely coordinated and sublimely graceful aerial dance! Trying to imagine what HE feels doing it is certainly much more challenging. The narrative commentary compared him to the Disney character Tarzan. That was a disrespectful mistake. Sure, Disney made a film or two featuring the character, but had no more involvement creating the Ape Man than they did with the Marvel superheroes. Tarzan, created by writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, predates the Disney company by at least a decade or two. Producers of this clip should have known this. What is also so great about the real life Tarzan featured in these clips is that he moves through the trees as real apes or monkeys would. He brachiates. He does not swing from rope like vines. That was an invention of filmmakers.

It takes courage, physical training and mastery of bare hand and foot climbing. Give this guy a movie, he deserves it.

    • @@patrickrowe3970 there are several types of talents. Some do not require safety precautions like singing and dancing. Some are dangerous like you see in circus, gymnastics, martial arts, sports and the extremes. When you see someone climb buildings w/o any instrument except his pure climbing skills; some are amazed while some are like you. When someone jumps from tree branches to tree branches w/o any safety equipment, that's plain dangerous. Why someone who can't do it do that stuff? And now you think of the fear he has to overcome, the training he has to undergo and the skill he has to master. He does these things for entertainment. And that's what talents are for. He does not need to hide them from you because you're smart. A lot of people need to see this.
