Watch me win big playing Plinko. Original airdate October 3, 2001. This show was taped on June 26, 2001, and is episode number 1873K. Complaints/concerns/comments addressed below.
"why do i have to sit through all this, i want to see the plinko win"
a: sorry. the rest of the set-up is included so that TPIR fans can follow along with the show. incidentally the gal who won the wheel (spoiler) went on to win a showcase (or was it a double?) in the final
(side note: the end round with the two big prize packages is called the SHOWCASE. the wheel-spinning situation is called the SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN.)
"omg he screams like a monkey"
a: you would too, if you won $20K in 10 seconds.
"what a flamer/homo/queen/f----t/etc"
a: i congratulate you on your perceptions, you know what they say about perception
"what did you do with the money"
a: i spent it, i'm american
"what's barker like"
a: like looking into time and space itself
I watched because plinko is my favorite game. seeing a grown man squeal like a teenage girl at a Beatles concert was just a bonus.
Plinko is garbage, I really don't know why
@@isaiahhatten7973 if you don't know, you don't know... Ya know?
Let me win 20k I will scream too, shit!!
😆
Of course, no disrespect to you at all dog no, but I don't think you would deep enough. Does he still have a childhood delinquent debt with the boogeyman?
Two late legends in one clip. Rest in peace, Bob Barker and Rod Roddy!
This was the greatest moment of this guy's life.
no wonder
Oh yeah I’m like to play plinko on the price is right
@@sleepydots1451 Says the Filipino
It would be for me too if I won that much money.
I thought you said, "this gay's life" at first.
His head almost exploded.
I thought he was gonna get all 5 chips in the 10,000 slot
Richard Everyone's heads were just about to explode, because of enthusiasm.
that would have been SWEET!
Bet if it had 100,00 he would faint
And I'm betting the excrement bubbled with excitement along with that head. I'm amazed some folks don't shit themselves a little when winning big at some shit along these lines. That was an epic scream.
LMFAO, when he started screaming
+Musicrecords10 Yeah, that's a riot.
he screams like a girl
joejoeevans maybe he's both lol 😅😅😅😅
Musicrecords10 xx
Ummmm, that guy seems gay.
"Thank you for the loyalty over the years..."
You have done something in life that VERY FEW people can say they did. You played Plinko with Bob Barker, and you won over 20 grand doing it. I envy you, and I'm glad to see how you showed your appreciation and reverence of the game on camera. Well done sir.
He had the time of his life and it’s delightful to see❤️
Damn, in those days contestants got EXCITED! Miss ya, Bob.
he's not dead
@@sumirunihon But, he's not hosting anymore...
Drew's better than Bob. Bob stayed way too long also.
Justin LeCroy hey, he’s not
And we were genuinely excited with them. Unlike today where it feels like it’s just embarrassing to watch
Some days I wish I could be as happy as David at the Plinko board. X)
Until you end up with like $0 on this stupid game then you won't be so happy
There hasn’t been a more family orientated show after this. This will go down in history as the greatest show ever.
Bob the the best host for that game also especially promoting spay and neutered for the pets. What a guy
This is for sure. I just got my kids on it I have an 11 year old and a 5 year old. We have been watching it on Pluto tv. The Bob Barker era. Best show ever :)
*oriented
It was one of those shows that just never got old. The new one is ok, just not the same. They're was just magic with this one. This just worked
The most rigged game show ever in the history of game shows 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Dude was about to breakdown crying with joy and I am right there with him. We all loved watching Plinko but the ppl that got to play.... wow 💯
not many men will show their emotions show like that. Good job being true to yourself.
tara willis There's nothing in this video implying anything about sodomy. Usually the person seeing sodomites, when there's none, is the actual one who engages in it. Nothing wrong with it dude. Don't hate what you practice.
another stupid animal argument we arent animals. but it does exist amonst the outcast just like humans lol. Im not religious you dont have to be to see how wrong and fucked up it is. fuck you owned
tara willis it doesn't matter if you're religious or not, what does matter though is you're stupid.
yes another one who couldnt comeback on what i said. haha brilliant
tara willis you said nothing of value. you're a useless troll.
What I love about TPIR is the genuine goodwill and helpfulness from the audience. The audience wants the player to succeed, and they will try to dissuade them from bad bids and go nuts win the player wins. Have you seen what happens when someone wins both Showcases? Bedlam. With Plinko, you might be unlucky, but you were almost guaranteed to be at least $500 richer. If I could pay off my student loans by dropping chips into various slots, I'd be excited too.
Yvette Thomas Exactly! Jealous people are jealous...;) Meaning those who say "20k's not a big win...:" Yeah...if it was THEM winning that money, I have a hunch they'd be excited. 20k could pay off a lot of my debts!
The audience throws out random stupid guesses that don't help the contestant and the contestants are too gullible to guess by themselves so 70% of the time they are not helpful
You can end up with $0 playing plinko, ive seen it happen
Because it was clear to him that I'd watched the show for years and years.
I'm sure you recognize what a blessing it was to be on this show with #TPiRKing himself, along with the most awesome announcer second to Johnny Olson-Mr. Rod Roddy! Now, the show has basically become a joke!
What did you do with the money once you won it? Did you save it or spend spend spend?
Typical Internet... All haters in these comments. Congrats on the big Plinko win, David! Well played.
Hate is the most powerful emotion on the internet. Tabloid site know how to exploit this.
Over time peoples likes have pushed almost nothing but positive comments to the top if that helps at all.
I don't see any hateful comments at all
The guy was probably screaming because maybe he has been dirt poor his entire life. Maybe he scraped together all of his life savings just for one shot at a game show. Maybe this was the most money he has ever had in his life. The scream was genuine. Good for him.
And then Uncle Sam comes by and takes a large chunk.
@@jdb2002 Depending on where you live. I had to file income taxes for Federal, State of Wisconsin (where I'm from), and State of California, and report my winnings as income tax. Compared to what I won, I paid about 1/3. Not a terrible price to pay for a childhood dream come true. If you lived in a state without State Income Tax like Florida or Kansas you'd fare better. But federally speaking you'll always have to pay in.
Was he seriously poor in his life before this happened?
@@MorganNye Who knows? Ask him about it. He made the video.
Exactly. Good for him.
Oh god his reaction makes me happy
So happy for him he is soo happy he was turning red
this actually brought tears to my eyes. pure enthusiasm!
Larry David would not be proud!
This guy's happiness made my day, glad he won 21k.
There’s nothing better than seeing a true fan do this well on a show like this.
Why are so many people so hateful? I got tears in my eyes watching how excited he was! If I won that much money I would be shitting my pants.
People like to tease other people. We are a shit society.
because they are jealous
As a Price is Right winner and fellow “dream come true” contestant, the happiness we feel is comparable to so few things. To every hater, I simply tell them to go to LA and show me how it’s done.
@@aaronlusanko6356 I highly doubt that they see the truth we hate truth.
That's because society expects men to be being cool, calm, and collected 24/7. Everybody is used to men being, what is called, "stoic." We're not allowed to express genuine joy and happiness and satfisfaction, when life throws us MEN a bone, once in a blue moon. In other words nobody is used to seeing men being genuinely happy.
I love his screaming. Wonderful.
So genuinely refreshing to see a bloke showing his emotions when 9 times out of 10 they just act all cool and macho. Good for you Dave!
Congratulations, Dave! Your reaction was priceless XD I LOVED this show especially with Bob Barker, used to watch it all the time!
R.I.P Rod Roddy!,Your announcer for the show.
Rod Roddy was awesome. Besides TPIR and Press Your Luck, what else did Rod announce for or were those the only game shows?
@@tdengineer4605 he also was the announcer for a 70s tv show called "Soap"
@@tiffanymorgan6562 As well as the first couple years of the original version of Love Connection.
@@drewzuhosky6826 wow I didn't know that! I'm ashamed, considering I watched the original version of #LoveConnection! Awesome
Lol damn he was not afraid to show his excitement! Congrats on the 2nd biggest plinko win
My great grandmother would have loved to have just been to the show once. I love this show.
Oh how, I wish she were still alive. She probably would have been a tad bit upset about not meeting Bob.
when I'm watching... so is my mother..rip mom
I love everything about this!! This is exactly how I would've reacted!! To get called, get on stage and meet bob, to hear those Plinko words and to win that much!! So many dreams coming true all at once!!
I would have started to twerk my big booty on stage
RIP Bob Barker! You will be dearly missed by many !
all of his reactions were great, (especially his reaction to him finding out that he was gonna play plinko)
When daytime television was in a class all on it's own; *THIS* _Price is Right_ era, _Blue's Clues_ on Nick Jr. LET'S BRING BACK NOSTALGIA
you go Dave. I actually screamed w you. I always get excited when someone wins something and that was awesome to watch -good for you!
Pretty much had fun with it! I should have saved more, but oh well!
@oldertvshowswerebetr The show (as Barker did it) was done live-to-tape, which means that it takes about an hour for each show. You can barely hear anything in the studio as the audience is quite loud, it's sometimes hard to hear the announcer talk about the prizes, especially after the show open (the first item up for bids). Barker stayed on stage and talked with the audience and the contestants. But, the prize cues and theme are definitely audible. Hope that helps!
I love that crystal cottage they bidded on. It was beautiful. I want one.🌻💛
when I feel like laughing...I always watch this video and I laugh my head off. And then I have good day!!

I saw TPIR in person once on Labour Day 1990...
I went into a wicked laughing fit after your second 10k chip. You're the man now, dawg!
Congradulations, Dave Ramos on your $22,000 win playing Plinko on The Price Is Right.
Dang man, don't think I have ever seen anyone that excited in the Bob Barker years, but there is one woman that won a car with Drew Carey that really got excited. I'd just like to spin the Big Wheel just once, that would be a honor.
Congrats, man! I've always wanted to be on "Price is Right"! You are so lucky you got to be with Bob Barker.
Syron, this was a clever edit on my part. Plinko was the 4th pricing game of the show, and I was not the final bidder on that item. I bid second-to-last and was fearful the last guy was going to bid 1401. He did not.
Had the same reaction when I found a 100 on the road.
Hey Dave, just wanted to say thanks for posting the video - it's so fun and genuine :)! I've been using it as a teaching aid to introduce a PLINKO unit to my intro to stats class and it's definitely improved my experience - hopefully the kiddos feel the same.
Glad it was helpful!
I wish I could get on TV, He is so lucky.
Monetarily speaking yes. $40K was won on the Carey version of the show, but I am pretty sure that was with a $20,000 center slot. Plinko has a lot of asterisks in the record books, since there is a daytime $5,000 center slot game, a daytime $10,000 center slot game, a nighttime $20,000 center slot game, and a daytime $20,000 center slot game.
The Price Is Right was always my summertime/holiday watching for enjoyment when I was a kid, especially with Bob Barker originally hosting and of course the great late Rod Ronny doing the voiceovers especially when he would say "A NEW CAR!!!!" Those were the days!!! :-D
This is exactly what I needed to see today, thanks Dave!
What a great win! Plinko is by far the best Price is Right game!!!
I loved this guy’s reaction! It really made me smile and laugh and it made me so happy!!!
This makes me really happy to watch. I'm glad you were able to get and keep the footage from your segment 😊
That's awesome. Man, I bet you had a blast! Congrats!
Your reactions are so awesome especially when you got $10,000 TWICE! Right on :)
the way his face was when he won 10k was PRICELESS
The model cracking up was hilarious hahaha
When the synth chimes and Rod’s tone hit, I would’ve done the same damn thing. Also I love the attitude in the description. “Like looking into time and space itself” is a fantastic line.
Congrats! You accomplished what I could not...when I was there, as soon as the show started I got stage fright and sat there the whole time thinking, "please don't call me, please don't call me." 😂 But listening to Bob's stories during the commercial breaks and before the show was priceless!!💲
Guessing you'll never see this but you're the best, Dave! This sure cheered me up
What a thing to say you've done - stood at the top of the Plinko board, and with Bob!
Very proud of ya sir! And I mean that from the heart. It must have been such a thrill to be there!
I LOVE the EXCITEMENT screams..... gave me a tear of joy for the guy.
this video should get 1M views
That was great. You were so funny and sweet, I was so happy for you, I felt like giving you a hug. What did you spend the money on?
Always glad to see people win, it makes me happy to see other people happy.
Great win! Congrats on playing Plinko and winning big!
@OGKadaffi contestant's row was awesome! i was so thrilled to be the first person called down. I saw my name on a cue card, I couldn't even hear Rod.
How did Bob Barker keep from laughing out loud with contestants like this?
Becuase he has class, unlike most of the people commenting about this guys sexual orientation on here, instead of just being happy for him.
Lmao this is amazing! This was deff top 5 moments in his life for sure
Winning that kind of money must have also been life changing for him
This is much better than price is right now
Bob >>>>>>>>>>>> Drew
Forget the winnings, your reaction to it and the faces you make are priceless!!!!! LOL Congrats!
That dude was very grateful and excited, glad he won.
david, I know it's been ten years, but it was fun to watch, and congrats
His squeal 😂 love him
His reactions - PRICELESS.
So happy for you! Congrats
dude made a years salary in about a minute and a half, good for him
This was hilarious lol Why say something bad??? Thanks for who ever posted it.
Thanks. You're very creative and original with your commentary.
I have the same reaction when punching in at work on a Monday at 6:00a.m. 😂😂😂
I love this show, I been watching since it opened
I miss you Bob Barker!
I do too
Same here. He made the show a lot more fun
2:51 Best Plinko opening
You lived that dream man.
love seeing people win
Love the reactions. I would've been the same.
For some reason, things that happened before September 11th seem happier and less fucked up.
I notice that, too...
of course dummy 9/11 was horrible. get that through your thick head.
Imagine right now... Oh, brother.
Good on you, bro. Glad you had a good time at the show.
I felt true joy for the first time in years watching this video
Actually I knew I was going to play Plinko after the 2nd pricing game (Plinko was #4)...I saw the name of the game on the show rundown offstage.
@jacksontevin funny, i said that plinko was the one game i probably wouldn't want to play because you could potentially walk out of there with $700 and a slap on the back from Barker. Plinko is exciting because it's all-cash and it's overproduced and a "fun" game.
How exciting!! Congratulations!!
Glad you had such fun
THATS AWESOME IM ALMOST AS HAPPY WATCHING HIM LOL BUT STILL BROKE LOL
Bob passed away today. RIP
🥀💔💖
i love when people get to play this game it's my favorite 💜
Aww. I'm so glad he won. I love how excited he is.
Oh my god! Congratulations on your win! Do you still have some of your money? If not, what did you spend it on?
This guy is the ultimate game show contestant! Felt bad when he lost his winning streak in the wheel of fortune, so much passion and personality...
Before bed I always watch the price is right it's help with my depression and anxiety 😂😃 see Bob Barker bring me joy
Congrats, I don't generally watch game shows, but I still love Price is Right. It's really nice to see someone win the big money.
