I’m hoping that Hoffman, among others (like OT Richards) have put on muscle this past Offseason. Because they ALL have the height at 6’3” - 6’5” to put on extra muscle with our Training Program, where they get all the weight training instruction they can use. C Hoffman at 325 would be much more effective when he wants to sit down and anchor than 205 - 215 lbs.

I feel more comfortable taking a tackle in the 1st round. I’m all for JPJ from Oregon, but this kid got some nastiness to him. This would be great for the run game to support Dak. In McClay we trust!

@timothyarnold1679 big facts. Idk why people are just disregarding Bass. Dude is a mauler. If you go back and look at the most productive games from our offense last year, Bass started 2 of those games.

Great video. Im still on the train about getting one these potential ALL PRO OL this first round. Hoffman is great for depth but if JPJ is there at 24 or Morgan, the upside is just sooo much bigger than Hoffman. Again, Dallas does very well at the draft so I'm not too worried about it.

I like Hoffman and Bass .. but draft a player with position flexibility, kick Tyler Smith out to left tackle..
Him and Bass are football players.
He plays mean which I like but the major thing I’m seeing and I could be totally off but he needs to work on his leverage and keeping his feet moving that’s something I noticed not just on his bad play but most of the plays once he’s reached his block and walked off his feet stop moving and that where you get him shoving the guy off which is great but he’s missing out on really driving the guy down. And when he’s beat it’s usually because it looks like he’s just standing straight up almost. If he can’t correct those which are coachable along with the hand placement he could really be a great asset.

What Most "Football fans" don't understand is the Cowboys (Dak's) lack of Playoff success is a result of poor play & productivity @ the Offensive Line!! The inability to establish an effective Running Game and or Pass Protection all stem from being consistently Beaten Upfront!! If the Cowboys focused more on Better Line Play meaning Scheme & Personnel the Cowboys would've won at least 1 if Not 2 Superbowls in the Prescott Era!!
Brock Hoffman plays with less leverage than Tyler Biadsz and that's saying something...he's a relatively young player...who can hopefully get better...the Cowboys would be better served having an open competition at the center position...
Thats the plan with the front office I believe they aren't just going to hand him the job.

A good center splits the defense in half, something Biadisz regularly failed to do. In this way, Hoffman is already better than him.
