Unpopular opinion but I think this loss bad for college football. Its already so heavily slanted to SEC (and Ohio State). This game pretty much solidified that the rest of the league doesnt even matter. The only solution at this point is to make lesser conferences play for a separate title.

Since everyone has been calling "professional" now they have NIL, I have been arguing for a while now there needs to be a salary cap - in the sense of how many players a team can recruit and collect . That's how a more fair league is created. Just like every other ( American) league I can think of, perhaps other than Baseball.

That forced fumble to start the game was a sign for what was going to happen. That was the most effortless fumble I’ve seen in a while. Georgia’s athletes are just on another level than TCdoodoo
I saw that against Mich. I figured we were going to feast.
This shows that Michigan really dropped the ball losing against TCU. Georgia didn’t make the same mistake Michigan did and showed up well prepared.

That's the kind of match-up that should happen every year. Nobody wants to see Boise State, TCU, Tulane, etc. against a team like Georgia or Ohio State. It has to be 5-star team vs. 5-star team. TCU has a team full of 2-star recruits. Make it make it sense.
Agreed, that was a good game. Last night felt boring, and as a Dawgs fan, I feel like it means less if it's a blowout. I'm happy my team won, but i like suspense, and there wasn't any in that game. That's why I wasn't even mad all the times we lost to Alabama because at least most of them were good games up until a certain point. Let's face it football is supposed to be entertainment, and this wasn't entertaining

Georgia has not replaced bama yet, but currently they’re leading them. A few more years of georgia being above bama will justify the case of Georgia replacing them. But also, who’s to say that georgia is replacing alabama? Georgia might be more dominant than alabama has ever been and nobody will know until the future comes

FFS 12 team playoff would not have solved anything. Georgia was just this good and people don't want to see it. After Georgia had a close game against OSU it woke the beast up and they put there best game of the year on show. No one in the top 12 would have beat them in that game let alone keep it close. They might give up 2 less TD's but still would have been a one sided game with the loss and that includes Bama. They got the Top 4 correct this year, Georgia was just that good.

This kind of game is why I don't usually watch College Football. It's just not competitive enough. Every year there's 1, maybe 2 completely stacked teams, and that's pretty much it. While Alabama and Georgia are good For Alabama and Georgii, they are very Bad for all of College Football. There's just way way too many blowouts.
As much as they are deserved, NIL deals will kill any remaining sliver of competitiveness in college football
