Isaac is such a kindhearted lad Kendra does nothing but be a piece of shit but he still tried to help her live

To be fair she had good intention in this one. However, she assumed that everyone under the Marker's influence are dangerous which isn't wrong she just didn't know that Isaac has some kind of resistance to the Marker despite the hallucinations.
I like some of the changes in the alternate ending version, during the start of the boss fight Isaac has already gotten insane and starts saying "It showed me what I have to do, you can’t stop me". The markers messed up Isaac when he started collecting those fragments.
It's just me, or the hive mind looks more tiny than the original?

They looked the same size to me The color probably made it seems smaller because in the original the Game was darker and it felt like it blended to the whole planet In here it's brighter
Yeah it feels like the original was a little bit bigger. I just saw the original final battle.
@@whirlybird268 no, they shrank the creature and changed a lot of the aesthetics of the fight with a comical slime effect at the end. If you go and watch the original game’s boss fight - it was larger, with intimidating music, and with actual intimidating monster sounds. I consider this one the strangest ball-drops in a otherwise phenomenal remake.
Man they really toned down Kendra getting her just desserts something fierce.
I agree the lack of her scream pain and agony during moment the tentacle squashed her like a bug was very underwhelming in terms of realistically there would be a peep from her even when she got smacked off the platform and landed on solid ground with out any sort of cushion protecting her unlike Isaac. I get that it may have been a instant death but compare to the original it made more sense she was in pain and fear for her life.
They made her more like an anti-hero antagonist rather than an outright one in the remake, she emphasises with isaac but ultimately has a job to do, in the OG she uses you and discards you when she no longer needs you and gets her just deserts which I personally prefer.

I still like original 2008 hive mind battle from remake 2023 version of hive mind battle, that tentacle drag scene was much better in original than remake making us suspense at the same time instead of just cutscenes in remake version

To be fair, the original was one part shooter and one part on a rail turret section.

Trueeee. The "crazy hallucinations" effect really sold it in the original. Nicole has glowing eyes, feels like a ghost, and the "hallucination effect" after jumpscare Now it feels... kinda bland?

Not gonna lie, the graphics are immaculate. The pace and tone feels a tad it too slow compared to the original final boss. Also, that original roar was legendary, this new one doesn't carry the same intensity behind it. Just my opinion tho, still looks great 👍
The intensity of everything took a weird hit Fighting groups of necromorphs feels like the OG Deadspace but the first hallway tentacle, hive mind and ending are lacking something. I think the audio was more intense in the OG The crisp quality they're going for makes the sounds clash and drown each other out alot

It's Nicole! A hallucination infact. A common thing in Dead space 2 is that isaac will be haunted by nicole via the marker, as it's basically using her to degrade his mental state.
The fact that you have to sit through that cut scene every time is so fucking stupid.

They were limited by technological constraints back then. Also, art direction is pretty much the same thing as how the game is meant to look and feel. That's why art directors lead concept artists, lighting artists, etc to achieve their ideal goals. You just shot yourself twice in the foot lol
