As a left-handed French gripper, there is so much to learn here. Here in France I have heard Grumier described as a simple fencer (in a good way). When he explains about fixing high then dropping/corkscrewing under the arm and being ready in sixte after, I see this. Simple/clear and progressive but obviously not easy. Thanks again.
I could fill pages and run out ink from writing all the things im learning from this one video
Great to hear his thought process and confidence even when he's 3-4 touches down. Thanks for sharing!
As a left-handed pommeler great to see such interviews to learn a lot from top fencers as access to such details is pretty limited due specific, thanks for doing that!
I'm a left-handed French gripper too; I'm always looking for coaching points to improve my game. Thanks for posting!
Absolute GOATs
thank you , French handle forever
There has to be a way to double like this video. Thanks!
Thank you for this!
Thank you.
Awsome stuff!
Awesome! ❤🎉
Great interview. Also, thanks for doing it in English. I’m guessing it must have been hard not slipping into French.
Not that much we talked quite a bit in French before the interview which I wish we recorded helped me get alot of insight for our team match the next day, he was a little worried about his English but I think he held up just fine and worst case I was able to hop in to help out.

I wonder how Grumier do that sixte parry after hand hit with french grip... I often fail to do a functional parry riposte even if prepared
Not as hard as you think if the distance is well managed !
