Crazy to see how significantly better he’s gotten better over each month this season he’s arguably a top 25-30 player in the league and this season is the worst he will ever be. We are witnessing a player not just live up to the crazy expectations but actually do better than those expectations Wemby is just insane.

  • Modern classic. So much new and old on display. AD and Wemby, shotblocking savants, fighting in the post. LeBron bringing the midrange and post up game straight from the 90's, yet Wemby is making highlight passes and 3 pointers, like the modern big man. High screens and rolls. Still a lot of 3 pointers. Beautiful game.

    • If he maintains his level of flexibility and mobility in his joints and builds lean but strong muscle on top of building his endurance to play 40 minutes a game, while continuing to improve on the little things in his game such as passing, and mid range shooting, he is going to be a top ten player of all time. • Wemby needs three things. First, he needs a bit more strength. If he can get stronger without losing speed and agility, whoah. Second, with time, he'll increase his understanding of the system he's playing in and the systems he's playing against. Third, with more matchups, he'll begin to understand the habits of his opponents, their quirks, and their weaknesses. In a couple years, he's going to be a real beast. If the Spurs can get the right players around him, they're going to be a real beast.

  • would probably actually be the 5th or 6th player to score back to back 5 steal 5 block games, if the NBA would just count the stats they have from before the 70s when they didn't accept blocks as a stat. We literally know that Bill Russel and wilt Chamberlain and Nate Thurmond did this. NBA just didn't count those stats back then, even though they recorded them.

    • @@HoopVenue yeah, but he’s gonna be way better. He can already defend decently on the perimeter. And he’s just so long, he changes the whole geometry of the court. Guys can get by him and have an open layup at the rim and he’ll just come from behind and block them. I’ve never seen anything like it
